In recent years, the Internet is supposed to have been the most important technological
invention because of the following advantages to humans. First and foremost, this
development makes the connection with people affordable for each other at any time
and places. The Internet allows people to be able with their parents or their friends
around the world without geographical barriers which were serious obstacles for
keeping in touch with persons before this invention. Secondly, many youths use the
internet as a tool of entertainment. We easily have access to variety of shows, music
videos, movies which can relax our mind after an exhausting day. Last but not least,
online networks also contributes to the world education. Students can use the internet
to gain knowledge by reading bools and articles instead of visiting library and sometimes
it’s time-consuming to find the information they are looking for. In conclusion, although
there are many benefits of the internet which make our life more comfortable and
meaningful, we have to set our limitation to control overusing it.

2. If I could make my hometown better everyday by changing one important thing, I would
try to diminish the incidence of unemployment due to its negative effects on
socioeconomic, increasing the rate of crime, lowing the educated people. First of all, the
unemployment directly affects people’s living standard. A person can not get the basic
life needed without having a sustainable job. In addition, the situation of not having a
job leads to the increase in the rate of crime. Because of their poverty, some people are
willing to steal, rob or kill to get enough money to buy food.  Last but not least, the
unemployment will diminish the numbers of educated citizens because if there are not
enough jobs to new graduated students, school students will stop studying and try to
learn a handicraft that may provide the basic life demands. In conclusion, I wish I could
help young students not face up to the unemployment in the future in my hometown as
much as possible.
