COUNTRYSIDE
I’m a nature lover who likes the peacefulness, so I’ve always wished to go to some where far from
the city in order to experience the great outdoors. Fortunately, I was born in a small village far away
from cities and it has nothing to complain about. Firstly, people there are gracious as well as
hospitable to everyone. Whenever anyone has difficulties, all the neighbours are willing to lend a
helping hand. Despite the lack of facilities, the scenery and the fresh amosphere around here gives
me the feeling of being immersed in nature. After school, I often ride my bike to the paddy field to
get the vibes of the village and it is also one of the way help me feel relaxed. When it comes to
specialty, my village is famous for ‘’Bánh Tai’’ which is a delicious food made from rice and pork,
it is such a great combination of ingredients. I like it so much . When I turn 18, I will leave this
village for big cities, but in the near future, I will come back here and settle down in my hometown.
This is simply because my village has been a part of my soul for all my life until now and it will
always be.
ÁO DÀI
As everyone has known that Ao Dai is our country traditional costume and it is very well-known
globally. And in Vietnam it holds our Vietnamese souls especially Vietnamese women. Although no
one knows exactly the history of AO DAI, many people believe that Ao Dai started as’’Ao ngu
than’’ in the dynasty of KING NGUYEN PHUC KHOAT around the 18th century then Ao Dai was
officially recognised as the national costume of Viet Nam. The Ao Dai has two main parts: the pants
and the tunic  . Comfort is always taken into account for fashions and beauty. Tailors must be skills
so as to ensure the wearer has freedom of movement. Despite it being a long robe, “Ao Dai” is cool
to wear. Synthetic or silk fabrics are best to use because they do not crush and dry quickly. Ao Dai
nowadays is very popular with different designs and colors. High school girls wear pure white Ao
Dai which symbolize their purity. The designer can even make it more artistic and unique for
models to participate in beauty pageants. “Ao Dai”has become the most preferred dress for formal
occasions and traditional ceremonies. It is hard to think of a more elegant, demure and charming
outfit, that suits Vietnamese women of different ages, than Ao Dai.
Talk about benefits and drawbacks of Facebook
I think everyone there must have their own facebook account So What do you think about the
Facebook? Firstly, It is a tool which helps us connect with our friends or people around the globe.
This platform provides us a virtual world so we completely share each and every moment in our
lives and enjoy our own world. In addition, it is necessary for us to release stress after a tiring day.
We are able to immerse ourselves in watching short videos, playing games, … or even post our
negative feelings on Facebook and be comforted by our dear friends. Facebook has a great source of
information that is very necessary for students. For example, me and my friends often go to
facebook to read good articles. So the question is does Facebook have any drawbacks? My answer
is definitely yes. Everything has two sides so does facebook, it also has many bad effects on us.
People can be addicted to using Facebook, they sit in front of the computer for a long time instead
of moving out of the house and communicating with other people. The most obvious disadvantage
of Facebook is that it can slowly destroy the relationship
with friends and family. One study found that using social media was associated with lower levels
of trust and satisfaction with family life, which may make people feel isolated and more depressed.
In particular, if teens use Facebook without the parents’ permission, they easily get involved in
cyber bullying cases which is very harmful to their psyche. In conclusion, We are only students.
Therefore, we should weigh the pros and cons, especially with our parents' permission, before using
Facebook.
What are the disadvantages of using Facebook?
Social media such as Facebook can cause people to lose focus and get distracted. Another
disadvantage is that it’s very addictive and can lead to detrimental /det.rɪˈmen.təl/
effects on your mental and physical health.
 Is Facebook safe?
In my opinion, facebook is only safe for those who know how to use it properly and for young
generation it is easy to be deceived
 What are the advantages of Facebook?
One of the advantages of Facebook is that it allows for easy interaction with friends and contacts. It
also gives people the opportunity to share their thoughts quickly and they will feel more relaxed.

English is the second largest language by the number of speakers after Chinese. Being able to use
English allows you to communicate with native English speakers as well as make friends all over

spoken in so many different countries there are thousands of schools and universities around the

The first university in VietNam
The Temple of Literature, located in the heart of Hanoi, is considered Vietnam's first university. This
school has attracted many bright people since its inception, contributing to the country's
construction and progress. In the autumn of the year Canh Tuat, the second year of Than Vu (1070)
during the

Life in the city.

I'm not a resident of a big city, but this summer I went to Ha Noi, the capital of Vietnam, to
visit my uncle. Ha Noi a crowded city that consists of many people from different parts of
the country as well as the world. We can easily meet people with different accents from the
North, the Middle, and the South of Vietnam. They all live, study, and work together in the
same neighborhood. This is due to the fact that there are many universities and colleges in
the city that have facilities and professional teachers. The lifestyle here is fast and active.
People start to leave home at a very early time in the morning. Some of them go to the
markets, some go to work, and some open their own shops. However, the streets during
working hours are also crowded, and sometimes I cannot even understand why there are
always too many people. They come back home in the evening, but later they head back to
the road again to go out with friends or have other forms of entertainment after a long day of
work. It is usually very late in the evening when most of the citizens finally go to sleep, but it
is easy to see many other people going out until the morning. There are many coffee shops
and convenience stores that are open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, so we can always
find a place to stay out. It can be considered that Ha Noi is a non-sleep city, and the roads are
never actually empty. This is not my first visit to Hanoi, but every time I come here it gives
me memorable memories. I will take Hanoi as a motivation to study hard so that in the near
future I will be developed there.
SPECIALiTY

 More and more people are unwilling to cook. Why is this happening?  -> I can
speak from experience that this phenomenon stems from the lack of cooking skills
and time.

 What are young people’s opinions about new food?-> Ooh, we love trying and we
aren’t afraid of seemingly strange food.
 Do you think tradition is important for a country? Why? -> Yes, I do. Tradition
has been formed through centuries of history. It reflects what the country has been
through, and also what the ancestors want descendants to maintain.
There are quite a lot of specialties in Vietnam, and one of them is BANH TAI, which
originated in my hometown Phu tho. To be honest, I just can’t recall the first time I gave it a
try as I must have had it when I was too little. BÁNH TAI is also known as BÁNH HÒN.
Because the shape of the cake resembles the ear, it is called’’BÁNH TAI’’. Banh tai owns
the milky white color of rice flour, so the cake is very fragrant  /ˈfreɪ.ɡrənt/ .The filling of the
cake is made of pork and many other ingredients, so when you enjoy the cake, you will feel
the sweetness and fat of the cake. Firstly, we have to make the dough, then put the pork and
green onions, pepper, and salt inside. Second, molding the cake into a curved /kɜːv/ shape
like an ear and then steam it for about 30 minutes. Sauce is also one of the most important
condiments so when making it, we have to mix sugar, lemon, chili, garlic and fish sauce. My
mother usually cooks BÁNH TAI for me, when I eat them, I feel all of my mother’s love that
she reserves for me. You know, it might sound weird but truth is, people in a certain region
don’t often enjoy its speciality because it is too familiar to them from childhood .The thing
is, I am the exception. To me, they’re the most special dish in this world. BÁNH TAI is such
a great combination of ingredients and an indispensable part of my locals. When you come
to Phu Tho, you only need to eat it once and you will remember it forever.

PEOPLES OF VIETNAM
Vietnam is a country with fivety four different ethnic groups, each of which has its own
unique and impressive culture and identity. Among Vietnam ethnic communities, Kinh
ethnic, which accounts for eighty six percent of Vietnam population, plays a crucial role in
national development . Kinh people spread along whole Vietnam and some other countries.
For thousands of years, the Kinh have developed one of the greatest agricultural civilizations
in Viet Nam. We are members of the Kinh people, so it cannot be denied that Kinh ethnic
groups have many traditional custom and habits. The villagers are welcoming and hospitable
to everyone, including outsiders. There are religious life, spirituality such as worshiping
grandparents, ancestors, and persons who have rendered honorable contributions to the
nation. The most important celebration in The kinh’s culture is Tet Holiday . It is not only a
spectacular occasion, but also an opportunity for private get-togethers. They also maintain a
rich collection of literature which includes old tales, poems, and proverbs. The traditional
custom here is “ao dai” – Vietnamese traditional long dress since around eighteenth century.
When it comes to the specialty of the Kinh, we will immediately think of a simple but
delicious dish that is banh chung. To be honest, being of the Kinh ethnic group makes me
feel proud and appreciative of my upbringing. Therefore, my motivation to study hard is to
preserve and develop the precious tradition of Kinh people.
