From my point of view, grades should continue to be maintained in school for the

following reasons. First of all, grades are one way for teachers to capture the learning
situations of students as well as help students know where their knowledge is. Then,
students will know how to come up with suitable study plans to improve their weaker
subjects. In addition, prestigious universities now give admission to people whose
academic scores are high . Nowadays, a vast number of higher institutions give
scholarships to pupils on the basis of their grades. Last but not least, the grades of
pupils are important when applying for jobs. For example, many worldwide
companies are looking for those whose academic performance is very good as they
think they are knowlegable and smart. In conclusion, to get good respect from society,
grades are essential, and it is a common belief that grades play a vital role in a
student's life in terms of motivating them for study purposes.
