With the development of urbanization, many youngsters leave their countryside and opt to
study and work in cities for the following reasons. First of all, there are much better educational
opportunities that rural areas do not have. Therefore, migrating to the urban areas helps young
people have more chances to access to good quality schooling which offer professional teachers
as well as facilities for studying. After that, they are given higher qualifications which make a
contribution to finding a lucrative job in the future. For instance, graduates will not have
trouble in having a suitable job in cites if they are lack of experiences. Highly-skilled workers
stand a big chance of building their own successful career in big cities. In conclusion, because of
the advantages that cities provide, younger generation prefer big cities than rural areas.
EFFECT
In this day and age, there is a trend of youngsters migrating from their countryside to urban
areas and this leads to various effects. Firstly, the growth of immigrants makes urban areas
overcrowded, cause many kinds of pollution which results in exploitation of natural resources.
For instance, because there has been a sharp increase in the number of young people move to
cities, the cost of living and property prices are much higher than ever before. In addition, the
issue of unemployment is posed to people who leave their homes in the countryside.It is hard
for inexperienced workers to earn enough money to maintain in big cities, so it leads to some
social problems such as poverty as well as crime that put pressure on the local government. In
short, if young generation continue moving into urban areas, countries are highly likely to face
many problems.
