Tiara Garments is going through the disharmony such as –Absence of dedicated HR


department, non-recruitment of Right person for the right job, over loading of works beyond
job description, non-appraisal of performance, inefficient training facility and unskilled trainers,
low job satisfaction.

Tiara Garments need to follow the basic Training and development process to achive its
organizational goal. Training and development process is an organizational activity aimed at
improving the performance of the individuals and groups of employees in the organizational
settings. It is an organized activity for increasing the knowledge and skills of the employees.

Through 'training' employees are taught specific skills while through 'development'
employee's personality and management skills are enhanced. Training can be viewed as a
process comprised of five related stages or activities:

1. assessment,

2.motivation,

3. design,

4. delivery, and

5.evaluation.

In essence, the strategic training and development process is similar to the strategic planning
process in general. Identification of needs, evaluation alternatives and initiatives, creation of
actions and key performance indicators, assigning to the right audience, implementing,
monitoring, and re-evaluation which are very basic need for Garments Tiara.

To motivate positively , Training and Development program in Tiara Garments can help
employees understand how their work fits into their company's structure, mission and goals.
Employees often become more motivated when they understand how their work matters.
Training, particularly for departments and teams, can improve work quality and outcomes.

Training and development program contributes greatly to employee's motivation and


improved performance in comparison with other factors like technology, management behavior,
working environment etc. There is positive relationship between the employee's performance
and training and motivation.

On the one hand, training and development leads to improved profitability and/or more
positive attitudes toward profit orientation, improves the job knowledge and skills at all levels of
the organization, improves the morale of the workforce and helps the employees identify with
organizational goals of Tiara Garments.

There are a number of different types of training we can use to engage an employee.
These types are usually used in all steps in a training process (orientation, in-house, mentorship,
and external training). The training utilized depends on the amount of resources available for
training, the type of company, and the priority the company places on training.

Companies such as The Tiara Garments spends an huge per employee. This includes
everyone from the security guard to top management, managers to the servers. They should
measure the effectiveness of its training by looking at turnover, which is below the industry
average rate of return . Servers make up the shortage percent of the workforce and spend more
labor hours, in house and external training is necessary..

The following traing method should be followed by Tiara Garments for achiving goal and
objectives of the company-

Development is a systematic process of training and growth by which managerial personnel gain and
apply skill, knowledge, altitude and insights to manage the work in their organization effectively and
efficiently. In other words. ... It is managements' responsibility of ensuring the success of the
organization.

Management development is a process in which managers working at different levels learn and
improve their ability, capability, knowledge and skills for improving the performance of individual as well
as organization. The effectiveness of managers at work contributes a lot to the success of every
organisation.

On the Job Management Development Methods -Job Rotation, Coaching, Job Instruction.
,Committee Assignments, Apprenticeship, Internship, Analysis of Organizational Present and
Development Needs are needed Which are very poor in Tiara Garments.

Appraisal of Present Management Talent, Inventory of Management Manpower, Planning of


Individual Development Programs, Establishment of development Programs are also absent.

There is no proper trainers, proper skilled managers, no proper Job record for performance
apprisal in the garments. Work pressure and non rotation of work , poor training facilities are increasing
Job Dissatisfaction in Tiara Garments.

There is enormous value of proper training and motivation sessions for employees in Tiara
Garments. Training and motivation allow employees to acquire new skills, sharpen existing ones,

Need of training arises due to improvement in technology, need for getting better performance
or as part of professional development. Benefits of training are intangible and investing in training
benefits both, organization and employees for a long period. Training enhances a worker level of skills.

For the Garments Tiara, the objectives of the employee training program are follows-

From the point of view of the individual employee, main aims of training are -

to improve the individual's level of awareness and Satisfaction

to increase an individual's skill in one or more areas of expertise by expert of that areas.

Increase an individual's motivation to perform their job well.

The key to having good all-round performance is five performance objectives:

1.quality, 2.speed, 3.dependability,4. flexibility and 5. cost.

The main training objectives also include:

To gain new knowledge or information that helps employees to do a job well.

To learn physical skills, like using physical machinery quickly and efficiently.

To influence employee attitudes and perceptions toward learning or organizational change.

To reduce their work pressure from their mind.

The objective of training is to develop specific and useful knowledge, skills and techniques. It is
intended to prepare employees to carry out predetermined tasks in well-defined job contexts and
outswide. It should be basically a task-oriented activity aimed at improving performance in current or
future jobs of Tiara Garments with job satisfaction.
