CHAPTER II DISCUSSION

A. The concept of fancied a corpse in the science of fiqh


1. Definition of fancied a corpse
fancied a corpse is to wrap the whole body of the body with layered cloth so that no part
of the body is exposed, including the face, the cloth used to wrap the body is a cloth that is
white, not too expensive, not in the form of finished clothing.
2. The evidences of fancied a corpse
 The word of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him)
"Put on your white cloth, for indeed the shroud is the best of yours, and the caravan of
your body with the white cloth" (Tirmidhi and others)
 The word of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him)

"From Ali ibn Abi Talib, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him)
said, "Do not be extravagant (choosing expensive fabrics) for the shroud because it will be
destroyed immediately" (Narrated by Abu Dawud)

3. The law of fancied a corpse

The law of the deceased is fardu kifayah over the living. The shroud is taken from the
corpse's own property if he leaves the treasure. And if he does not leave his property, then his
shroud shall be the duty of the man who is obliged to give his shopping while he is alive. Kalua
who is obliged to give his shopping can afford, should be taken from the Baitul mall which is
regulated according to Islamic religious law. If Baitul mal does not exist or is irregular, then it
becomes the duty of able Muslims. Similarly, other purposes concerned with corpses

4. Preparation for the body


There are several tools or materials that must be prepared in the process of the body are
as follows:
a. White cloth 3 strands
b. Scissors
c. Cotton
d. Sandalwood
e. Fragrance oil ( attar oil)
f. Finger mats if needed as a base for corpses
5. Shroud sizes
a. The size of the shroud used by the corpse
The width of the body. If the width of the body is 30 cm, then the width of the fabric
provided is 90 cm. 1:3
b. Measure the height of the body
1) If the height of the body is 180 cm, then the length of the shroud plus 60 cm.
2) If the height of the body is 150 cm, then the length of the shroud plus 50 cm
3) If the height of the body is 120 cm, then the length of the shroud plus 40 cm
4) If the height of the body is 90 cm, then the length of the shroud plus 30 cm
5) Additional length of shroud is inserted to easily tie the top of his head and the bottom.
6. The provisions of the shroud
The things that are practiced in covering the bodies are as follows:
a. The shroud should be white
b. The shroud used should be good, clean, and cover the whole body.
c. The number of shrouds for men should be three layers, while for women five layers.
d. before it is used to wrap the shroud, it should be perfumed.
e. not exaggerating in covering the corpse.

The female shroud consists of five white sheets as follows.

a. The very bottom first sheet to cover the entire wider body.
b. The second sheet of the head scarf. c. the third sheet for the clothes brackets.
c. The fourth sheet to cover the waist to the feet.
d. fifth sheet to cover the hips and thighs.
7. The procedure for covering the body.
How to dress the body
a. three shrouds shall be provided spread out and arranged:
 the widest shroud at the bottom
 Each sheet of cloth is swept with fragrances or perfumed oil that does not contain
alcohol or on each piece of cloth there is sandalwood.
 cloth one and two folded on the body.
 the third cloth (the bottom one) is rolled so that it is strong.
b. provide five strands of rope which are placed under the shroud.
c. provide cotton swept with fragrances and sandalwood which is used to cover, among
others:
1) both the fingers to the ankles
2) the second knee
3) genitals
4) over the chest under the left hand
5) above the left hand under the right hand
6) over the right hand
7) elbow second hand
8) second armpit
9) second shoulder
10) Close the ears
11) face, shown on the forehead, eyes and nose
d. carefully lift the stubble then lay it on the shroud that has been spread.
e. Cover the body with cotton that has entered the parts that have come above.
f. the shroud should be folded or closed. The upper first and second sheets should be folded.
while the third sheet (the bottom one) is rolled up, then tie it with rope in the following
sections:
1) toe
2) knee folds
3) hip
4) Chest
5) Chief
g. all the ropes of the corpse's desire are knotted to life on the left. Before being tied to the
head, the heirs are allowed to see or smell it. Then write the words "Laa ilaaha illa allah"
and "Muhammad Rasulullah" on the forehead of the body using perfumed oil.
h. then then tie it on the head of the body
B. How to Make the Concept of Fancied the Corpses in Fiqh Science really implemented by the
community
The way that the concept of fancied a corpse is really carried out in the community,
namely as follows:

easily, namely by carrying out socialization together with other communities in order to be
really carried out properly and correctly, the community must also anticipate each other

A. Conclusion

B. Suggestions
The suggestions in this paper are as follows:
1. The community, small children, and students who do not understand must understand
about the body properly and correctly by understanding its concepts until the procedure of
disifying the body
2. For young children, students, parents and also students who have not at all understood in
the concept of dissingani corpses. Young people, students and parents can be more eager
to learn, look for books on the problem of decatuation of the corpse, or attend an assembly
event that discusses the study of fancied the corpse.

As a religion of nature. Islam regulates the relationship between fellow Ummahs.
Including human relationships with fellow humans who are related to the marriage bond.

Islam encourages humans to marry, because marriage has a good influence on the
perpetrator, society, and all mankind. Marriage is the best medium to channel biological
desires in Syar'i with physical marriage to be in good shape, to calm the soul, and to be nurtured
from seeing what is haram. Marriage accommodates the instincts of motherhood and
motherhood at the same time. The two will complement each other in any way. A husband will
feel less when not side by side with his wife and vice versa. The scholars often describe the
relationship between husband and wife in the household mahligai with the term "At. takamul
baina at tarfain" (a complementary relationship between the two parties) besides Islam also
