In an effort to promote a healthy and collaborative environment as we continue to roll-out the Xavier Ateneo teaching
and learning experience through the Flex eLearning modalities in the current school year, the teacher and the student
of this course whose names and signatures are found below have been given the information to arrive at an
agreement described in the following terms:
☑ The teacher and the student have read and understood the contents, overall design, and goals of the Xavier
Ateneo Flex eLearning modalities as described in the College Student Primer and will continue to refer to
the primer when conducting all teaching and learning activities of the course.
☑ The teacher and the student have discussed the teaching and learning scope, pace, rhythm, structure,
requirements, schedules, grading system, modes of contact and consultation, and other arrangements of the
course during synchronous Course Orientation Session, where the attendance of the student is required.
☑ Whenever attending online sessions, both the teacher and the student will be mindful of the expectation for
all to abide by the Guidelines for Synchronous Sessions.
☑ Both the teacher and the student understand that they are expected to abide by all clauses of the Xavier
Ateneo Netiquette.
☑ The teacher and the student agree that the reproduction, redistribution, and unauthorized broadcasting of
course learning materials violates the University Guidelines for Copyright and Intellectual Property
Rights.
☑ The teacher and student shall, at all times, be mindful of the tenets of Self-directed Learning and proceed
with the teaching and learning of the course in accordance with the guidelines at a pace that ensures the
system success of the XU Home-based Flex eLearning.
☑ The teacher and the student both agree that it is the responsibility of the student to disclose clear and
complete information to his/her parents and all other parties, where applicable, privy to the teaching
and learning engagement.
☑ The teacher and student understand that any due process addressing the deviation, neglect, counteraction,
or violation of the guidelines, principles, and rules detailed in the documents highlighted above is guided
either by Article 1, 5-7, 9, 11-12 of the 2014 University Code of Conduct or the Code of Conduct for
students as specified by the Student Handbook.
For and in consideration of the forgoing premises, the student and the student involved agree, as they hereby agree, to
fulfill the following terms and conditions of this Learning Agreement. The parties and witnesses who affix their hand
on this document does so with full autonomy and without coercion.
