I am writing this letter to endorse the application of Mr. Dawit Desalegn.

Dawit Desalegn worked in ADAMA SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY UNIVERSITY (ASTU) ICT
center on the positon of paid intern software developer for one semiannual semister, from September 5,
2021 to Febrary 10, 2022. Like all developers, he design database for various systems and wrote code for
computer software. His responsibilities include requirement gathering, analysis and design of complex
web application using a varitey of technologies.

During the course of his internship, dawit provide himself to be a dependable employee and a hard
worker with solid problem solving and technical skills.He also takes his work very seriously and regularly
updates his status to stay abreast of the newest developments in programming. While he was working in
the ict center he was teamed up with our software and application development team. He had a leading
role in developng a gate pass management system for the university itself(ADAMA SCIENCE AND
TECHNOLOGY UNIVERSITY), which has the aim of advancing the manual way of gate pass system
for the university.

Overall, Dawit iis a talented and hard working intern, and I strongly recommend he for any mid-level
development postion. And with the right guidance and training, I have no doubt Dawit could excel in an
upper-level development postion.
