Q. A body is projected with a velocity of 30 ms–1 at an angle of 30° with
the vertical. Find the maximum height, time of flight and the horizontal
range. ( g = 10 m/s2 )
Velocity of a projectile at maximum height is half of its initial
velocity . Find angle of projection.
It was calculated that a shell when fired form a gun with a

certain velocity and at an angle of elevation rad should

strike a given target. In actual practice, it was found that a hill
prevented the trajectory. At what angle of elevation should the
gun be fired to hit the target.

A shell is fired from a fixed artillery gun with an initial speed
such that it hits the target on the ground at a distance from it.
