I. Title of the Training: Best Fit Therapeutic Practices During the Covid-19 Contagion

II. Insights gleaned from the Training:

Reflective Practice is a method of studying your own experience to demonstrate how you
work to overcome adversity. I believe we need to strengthen our best therapeutic practices
because it is useful for counselors and teachers in transitioning to the new normal as a result of
the pandemic situation.

Furthermore, the Emotional Freedom Technique Therapy, also known as the tapping
technique, is based on the premise that the source of all negative emotions and beliefs is a
disruption in our body's energy system. It works by deliberately causing an energy disturbance
by recalling a painful memory or simply feeling your emotions.

As guidance counselors, we understand that one of the principles of guidance is that it is

culture-based, so the therapeutic should be based on our culture, taking into account our
Filipino strong characteristics, traditions, and orientation. As a result, as Filipinos, we should
develop our own concepts, strategies, or methodologies that are appropriate for Filipinos. The
term "strength-based approach" refers to focusing on one's strengths rather than one's flaws.
