Indigenous media records and preserves traditions, enhances and
facilitates cultural forms such as music and crafts, and can also build
connections to the wider world

1. What is a library?
ANSWER: a place where many collection of books, media, materials and
periodicals held in a library being kept that are easily accessible for
use and not just for display purposes.
2. Why do you think every school has a library?
ANSWER: most of the school has a library and the reason of this is
because it gives people an opportunity to explore and experience new
ideas by reading. Impact positively on the academic achievement of the
students. 
3. Do you still use library resource for research? Why or why not?
ANSWER: Honestly no. First, it is more hussle to go on libraries and also
for the reason that we are not really into using those. Next,
Technological inventions are way easier and convenient to use especially
nowadays.

ANSWERS: I think it is an improved library wherein technologies are
accessible to patrons and visible to staff.

and etc. This media can also serve as a source of knowledge and informations.

Media provide us information that can be used as tool for communication and educate us
where we can learn about all things for instance

3. How can you evaluate or measure the quality of information from the
four types of sources.

 uthorship- When a piece of writing or website is authored anonymously. It should be evident


who created the content. What are the author's credentials? Does he/she have expertise during
this field? Is the biographical information provided?
 Publisher-It can help determine the origin of the document, for instance, whether a long time
publisher produces it, an agency, a non-profit organization, or a billboard website. Consider the
publisher's reputation and trustworthiness.
 Accuracy and objectivity-Can the facts presented on an internet site be substantiated
elsewhere? Watch out for information that cannot be confirmed or that offers a biased view.
Always check multiple sources to work out credibility.
 Timeliness-When the online page was created and the way recently it has been updated.
 Footnotes and bibliographies-Legal references and links to other sources can increase a
document's credibility and depth of scholarship.
 Sponsorship-Some websites are formally permitted by the parent business to which they're
linked. Others are often on a parent site but not officially sponsored by the organization. A
private homepage on a university's server doesn't automatically confer credibility.

predominant. Other movie labels cannot be considered genres.

 Idea, procedure, system method or operation, concept, principle,

 Intellectual property protection is critical to fostering
innovation. Without protection of ideas, businesses and
individuals would not reap the full benefits of their inventions
and would focus less on research and development

 To promote the ethical use of media and information, a
student would have to start with his or herself. One has to
analyze every information being taken in and patronize and promote
those that you regard as truthful. Other than that, there is
nothing more than a student can do.

 Self Respect is defined as holding yourself in esteem and
believing that you are good and worthy of being treated well.An
example of self respect is when you know you deserve to be treated
right and as a result,you do not tolerate others lying to you or
treating you unfairly.

2. Which element of Digital Citizenship is the most important? Why?

 Treating others with respect and empathy are key elements of


digital citizenship. Some states and countries now require that
digital citizenship lessons be taught within schools and
communities.

3. Do you think being a Digital Citizen require Netiquette? Why or why not?

 To promote internet safety, digital citizenship, and netiquette,


it's crucial to curb cyberbullying. Because cyberbullying affects
a student's psychological well-being and can lead to physical
abuse, you must be prepared to help students deal with it.

 Ask your parents, teacher (or an elder) to guide you on things you
do. And also make sure you remember the things your parents told
you so you can do those thing by yourself.
