Are you going to Dan and Lisa's wedding? ¿Vas a ir a la boda de Dan y Lisa?

Yeah, I guess so. I'd rather not, though. Going
to wedding isn’t my favorite thing to do.
Really? Why not? Weddings are great! Even if
you don't like the ceremony, you like going to
the parties before and after, right?
Oh, yeah, the parties are good. Actually,
watching the ceremony it's okay, too. No, the
problem is I hate shopping for wedding gifts! I
never know what to get, and walking around
stores all day is really boring. I am considering
not buying them anything, in fact...
Ryan, buying gifts is so easy now! You just go
to a website to find a couple's gift list, choose
something they want and but it online. I am
thinking of getting them a toaster. it's on their
list!

My wife Laurie and I went to Bali on our
honeymoon. The first day we went hiking it was
fun, but we got tired and wanted to go back to the
hotel. It was hot and I got really thirsty, so I drank
some water from a river. That evening after our
walk, we got hungry so we went out for a dinner.
Unfortunately, I got sick that night. Laurie got
worried and took me to the hospital. I stayed in the
hospital for 4 days. I got very better! When I got
bored I left the hospital and went back to the hotel.
I felt fine, and I wanted to celebrate. We went to a
restaurant and I ate too much food! Laurie got mad
because she thought I was going to get sick again.
The next day we had to come home or honeymoon
was awful!

Mi esposa Laurie y yo fuimos a Bali en nuestra luna
de miel. El primer día que fuimos de excursión fue
divertido, pero nos cansamos y queríamos volver al
hotel. Hacía calor y me dio mucha sed, así que bebí
un poco de agua de un río. Esa noche, después de
nuestra caminata, nos dio hambre, así que salimos
a cenar. Desafortunadamente me enfermé esa
noche. Laurie se preocupó y me llevó al hospital.
Estuve en el hospital durante 4 días. ¡Mejoré
mucho! Cuando me aburrí salí del hospital y volví al
hotel. Me sentía bien y quería celebrar. ¡Fuimos a
un restaurante y comí demasiada comida! Laurie se
enojó porque pensó que me iba a enfermar de
nuevo. ¡Al día siguiente teníamos que volver a casa
o la luna de miel fue horrible!
