“LAST SUMMER”

My name is Hellen. Last summer I WAS in Gran Canaria. The weather WAS sunny, the
plam tress WERE very beautiful. I WAS with my two brothers: Mark and Harry. We
WERE camping at the beach. I WAS twelve years old, mu brither Mark WAS 10 years
and Harry WAS ten too because they are twins. It WAS fantastic to swim in the beach and
make sandcastles in the sand. My friends WERE very sad because the holidays WERE
ending.

One day we went to the city, there WERE many places to visit. The supermarket WAS
very big and there WAS a school opposite the park. The children WAS there. They WERE
in the park playing. The teacher WAS looking at them and we WERE happy because we
weren´t at school.

We WERE in the museum, there WERE some pictures and sculptures from Gran Canaria.
They WERE very nice. At eight o´clock we WERE in the camp again and the next day we
WERE at home, I WAS very sad and my brothers WERE too. My mother WAS in the
airport and my father WAS in the car waiting for us. They WERE very happy because we
WERE at home again.
