Causes of youth delinquency.

The world today is being invaded by a lot of social problems like violence and

crime. This makes people practice this since early ages. Youth delinquency is the act

committing a crime at very young age. Young people begin to act in a bad way and

make serious mistakes in their life that hurt their life and family or friends. This

problem has increased due to some causes such as: lack of education, lack of guidance

from parents, and lack of finances.

One of the causes of youth delinquency is the illiteracy or lack of education.

This is one of the main causes for a young person to become a delinquent, because

without any degree that supports them in the future, they will not be able to obtain a

decent job; And this cause that for to be able to survive and to be an easy way to start

committing crimes such as stealing because they want to get out of poverty and live a

rich life.

Also, the curiosity is a cause that the young people will be a delinquent, they

want to experiment and feel themselves the delinquents act.

Another cause is that many times we do not perceive that adults can also have a

negative impact on the lives of young people and this influence can turn them into

criminals. It usually happens that there are families with a member who has been a

delinquent in the past or also a neighbor or friends who they practice the delinquency,

are not good examples for young people and can induce them indirectly to the way of

delinquent.

Finally, the last cause is the lack of jobs and the drug addiction. When young are

delinquents, they begin to use drugs and like the young cannot job and any good way to

get money, this does young people to steal money or things to buy drugs.

Juvenile delinquency, currently, declared a social problem due to the negative effects that

damage our society. Taking into accounts its generative factors, in the social, economic and

educational assistance programs emerge; where the government wants at all costs to

prevent the apparition of new juvenile delinquents, offering children and young people

development opportunities and apprenticeships and thus lower the standards of this

problem that is worldwide; However, the government cannot solve this problem alone,

parents, relatives and the same young people have to work with the government to

decrease this big situation, through different programs and places that help youth

delinquency.
