Winter
Give a speech with
the following words:
Possible answer:
need We need winter. It’s a reminder that life needs to slow down, take a break, and,
slow down yes, sometimes make us a little miserable to be able to appreciate that there is
kids always another season. Without a snowfall of epic proportions, we wouldn’t be
chocolate able to appreciate how much kids love playing in the snow, no matter how cold it
movie is outside. We would forget how good a mug of hot chocolate with a mountain of
marshmallows and whipped cream tastes after hours outside. We wouldn’t
1 remember how much joy it is to snuggle on the couch, make some popcorn, and
put in the movie Tangled. And still cry at the paper lantern scene.

Winter
Give a speech with
the following words: Possible answer:
Farmers need snow, plain and simple. They need snow to blanket their fields so
snow that when it all melts in the spring, their fields are properly irrigated and ready for
irrigate planting. A lack of moisture in the soil right from the outset is very problematic
agriculture and can force farmers in severe situations to either reduce their plantings or in a
cold worst case scenario, not plant at all. Snow is also necessary for farmers that plant
protect certain crops in the fall. Winter wheat that is planted in the prairies need to be
blanketed in snow in order to provide insulation from extreme cold. When these
2 crops are exposed to the elements, they become vulnerable to frost which can kill
the crop outright. Other crops that are planted in the fall require snow to protect
the seeds from predators like birds.

Winter
Give a speech with
the following words:
Possible answer:
A wistful feeling comes over us in late autumn, as the last remaining leaves drop,
change
morning frosts cover the ground, and the sun sets earlier each day. Hot cider and
depression
the warmth of a favorite old coat may be all you need to face the coming winter
tiredness
with good cheer, but for many people, fall melancholy deepens to winter
energy
depression. Tiredness is closely associated with cold months and winter time. In
interest
winter, many people notice physical and mental tiredness and lack of energy,
while the other also recognize lack of interest and creativity. It is not unusual
3 that our body and mind react to climate change, however, what seems to be
unusual is the fact that most of the people blame the cold weather.
