Introduction
This Technical Document allows you to get an overview of an asset and environment made for
an indoor environmental Project. This project is based on a fantasy theme of elves and magic.

The process of developing the asset and environment is shown in this document. The backstory
which was developed in association with the group is added here considering the context.

In addition, The asset exploration is divided into various steps to give a better understanding of
the asset development and environment development.

In the heart of the Santharian Forest lies the ancient city of Elysia, where a magical people known as elves live. These mystical creatures are
humanoid in appearance, but pointed ears and a slender, taller figure distinguishes them from humans. Elves are blessed with mana, a
mystical power that allows them to cast spells and commune with nature. They are also agile, incredibly perceptive, and have a naturally
long lifespan; some would consider them effectively immortal. Elves are characterized by a strong sense of union and harmony with their kin,
resulting in their society's ideology being grounded in helping each other to maintain a powerful community.
Their government is composed of ten elected members called the Ten Apostles of Elysia, who are in charge of ensuring stability throughout the
city and amongst the various social classes. These include warriors, blacksmiths, artisans, tamers, healers, and farmers.
Ever since the humans’ emergence into the world, the elves had hoped for a friendly relationship with them, expressing their desire of creating
a society where they could both live in harmony and solidarity. The humans’ king, Nozel Silva, shared the same hope for a collaborative
society with the elves, where every commoner could live their lives happily without any conflict, and to improve human lives with the use of
magic and bonding with nature. Accordingly, Nozel Silva arranged an authoritative conference with the Ten Apostles, declaring his intention
of a united society.
In the year E9, during the Day of the Sun, the elves and humans met for the first time, and began a peaceful coexistence. The new society
seemed harmonious, but some humans began to both fear and at the same time desire the elves’ immense power. As such, a group of nobles
gathered in secret and planned to steal the Arcane Siphon, a powerful artifact able to absorb one's mana and transfer it and the ability to use
the magic to its wielder. On the first night of the year E10, the plan was set in motion, and the Arcane Siphon was used to drain the elves’
magic. Using their own magic against them, the humans began a crusade of elven slaughter. Consumed by despair, a small number of the
Apostles and elven warriors transformed into dark elves, their form changed by dark magic to strengthen their bodies. However, it came at a
cost; dark magic is powerful, but consumes one's soul. Empowered, perhaps even blinded, by their grief and rage, the elves struck back against
the humans.

- Thought Process
Well, Chair is a normal asset for any interior environmental project. The
group initially decided the chair should look like a mushroom, but I find
it more cartoonish and then decided to change it look like a tree stump
carved like a chair cause it’d look more realistic and natural for a
workshop inside a tree.

Well, For the chair I didn’t actually went to look up for references. As I
thought It should be a tree stump carved like a chair. I just started
imagining a tree stump and modified as the drawing goes on. Finally, I
was able to get a good chair carved from a tree stump. But for example
I’ll leave an image here.

The colours here are chosen as the chair is

basically carved from a tree stump or a tree,
So using these brown and faded brown(for
the bark) makes more realistic and natural.
Environment

- Thought process
The environment is the main aspect of this project. Well, I was confused at first that how to design it or sketch, for the
assets to be placed accordingly, then the floor plan was designed collaboratively in group, that made it easy for me to
imagine how to design it.

As the workshop is based inside the tree, I felt the walls should contain the structures of a tree and the floor should be
plain to walk. As it is built, The floor I’ve chosen was a pattern with wooden boards. So that it would suit for the life in
woods.

Colour Plan
The colour plan for the environment is similar to the chair but with addition of green colours in
between to make it look more tree like and natural.
