Bagasse fly ash is released during the burning of bagasse when, it is

sent to the power boilers during the process in making of sugar,
ethanol and jaggery.
Bagasse has a net calorific value of 8000 KJ/Kg
3 Million Tonnes of Fly Ash is released for the production of 1.0
MT(Metric Tonne) & 0.07MT of Ethanol
According to International Sugar organisation, world sugar
consumption has increased from 123.454 MT to 172.441 MT from 2001
to 2018, having an average annual growth of 2.01%
