DESIGN BRIEF

The board of governers have decided to use an unused cricked field as the site. They have asked me to
design 10 identical housing units for the teachers and their families.

SPECIFICATIONS:
- 3 bedrooms
- 2 bathrooms (one must be en-suite)
- Open plan lounge, dining room and kitchen
- Small covered patio/veranda with built in braai
- 2 parking bays for each unit

CONSTRAINTS:

- Must be cost effective

- Must have energy saving fixtures
- Must have handicapped friendly features
- Must make as compact as possible because of limited space
- Specific layout to create privacy between the units
