STORY IN A SONG 2

The song I know when I tell a story, it comes to a reality is based on a made-up story and

depicts individual experiences. It is about my origins and how I embraced the modern way of

living. Although, some elements of fiction are employed in the song. Like the ancestry names,

they do not belong to my ancestors. However, I just wanted to make it look honest and touching.

The song contains a message figure of speech and imagery.

Here is the song: “I know when I tell a story, it comes to a reality.”

On the way to a rainy mountain, a journey that takes me on footsteps

Of my Cherokee ancestors as I navigate the local history &
Get back to a spiritual journey; in the names,
I summon up the doings of my family,
Cherokee on my father’s side and Kiowa on my mother’s side,

I provoke my happy juvenile, deeply engrained in family traditions but

Considerably spent on reservations away from people of my culture,
I have kept a fragile Balance between remaining connected to my
Cultural backgrounds and extending Concerns between
Limits of a specific community and a particular nation

I also appear to have mastered several unique forms of writing

Literature— theatre, poetry, and fiction; always looking at the
Power of words as readily
Depicted in the oral traditions; I believe words are powerful,
They are intrinsically strong; Words ought to be used carefully,

In traditional rituals, words can appear as visionary spirits, as medicine

Storytellers and singers in conventional backgrounds; know that words
Can rip off sickness from the body, words can seize a lover’s heart,

In addition, subdue an enemy. I see myself as a novelist and storyteller;

I know when I tell a story, it becomes a reality.
