1. i) An Inverting amplifier is to amplify a 75mV signal to a level of 5V. Using IC 741 op-amp,
design a suitable circuit.
ii) Simulate the rectangular wave generator for a frequency of 5 KHz with IC 555 timer in
Pspice.
2. i) The non-inverting amplifier with a ±15V supply is to produce maximum possible output
voltage and is to have a voltage gain of 33. Design and construct a suitable circuit using IC
741.
ii) Simulate the 8-bit Flash type A/D converter and study its performance in Pspice.
3. i) Design a Differential amplifier for a gain of 120 using op-amp IC 741.
ii) Simulate the active wide band pass filter for a cut off frequency of 450 and 2 KHz and pass
band gain of 5 with IC 741 using Pspice.
4. i) Design a differentiating circuit to give an output of 5V when the input voltage changes by 1V
in the time of 100µsec. Use an op-amp to construct the circuit and assume the input
waveform to be sine and square wave.
ii) Simulate the Second order Butterworth high pass filter at a cut off frequency of 3 KHz and
pass band gain of 5. Plot the frequency response in Pspice.
5. i) Use of an op-amp, design an integrating circuit to produce a triangular wave output with
peak-to-peak amplitude of 5V, when the input is a square wave with an amplitude of ±3V and
frequency of 1 KHz.
ii) Simulate the first order low pass and high pass filter to a cut off frequency of 3 K Hz using
OP- amp in Pspice
6. Design and construct the op-amp based instrumentation amplifier to have an overall voltage
gain of 500 with the input amplitude of 18mV and supply voltage of ±15V.
7. i) Design and construct the second order low pass filter circuit with the following components:
R1=45KΩ, R2=45KΩ, R3=100KΩ and C1=500µf, C2=1000 µf. Calculate the cut off frequency
and draw the frequency response.
ii) Simulate the analog multiplier using IC 565 in Pspice.
8. i) Design a second order high-pass Butterworth filter to have a cut-off frequency of 11 KHz.

Use a 741 op-amp and estimate the highest signal frequency that will be passed.
9. i) Using IC 741 op-amp, design and construct the bandpass filter. The center frequency is to be
2 KHz and pass band is to be approximately ±30 KHz on each side of 2KHz.
10. i) Design and construct a free running multivibrator using op-amp to have UTP and LTP of 0.5V
and obtain a output voltage of ±9V with a frequency of 1KHz.
ii) Simulate the Second order Butterworth low pass filter for a cut off frequency of 1 KHz and
pass band gain of 10. Plot the frequency response.
11. i) Draw the one shoot multivibrator circuit and to design an output pulse width of 1ms when
triggered by a 2V, 100µsec input pulse using IC 741.
ii) Simulate the free running oscillator using IC 555 with a duty cycle of 0.25 and frequency of
signal is 1 KHz using Pspice.
12. i) With a suitable circuit component for the value of UTP=+3V and LTP = -5V, design a Schmitt
trigger circuit using IC 741 op-amp with Vcc= ±9V
ii) Simulate the free running oscillator to generate the square waveform of 50% duty cycle using
IC 555 in Pspice.
13. i) Design and construct the phase shift oscillator to oscillate at 300 Hz and plot the waveform
using IC 741.
ii) Simulate the narrow band pass filter whose frequency response lying between 50 Hz to
250KHz in pspice.
14. i) Design a Wien bridge oscillator to have an output frequency of 12 KHz. Use a op-amp with a
supply voltage of ±15V.
ii) Simulate the monostable multivibrator with iC555 using PSpice.
15. i) Construct and observe the waveform of a 2 KHz square waveform generator using 555
timers for duty cycle 0.25.
ii) Simulate the 4 bit Flash type A/D converter for input voltage of 4V in Pspice.
16. i) Design a one shoot multivibrator circuit to have an output pulse width of 2 Msec when
triggered by a 3V, 50 µsec input pulse and plot the waveform using IC 555.
ii) Simulate the second order active low pass filter for a cut off frequency of 500 Hz with IC 741
using Pspice.
17. i) Find the lock in range and capture range of PLL using IC 565. Also determined PLL used as
frequency multiplier.
ii) Simulate the active high pass filter for a cut off frequency of 1000 Hz with IC 741 using
Pspice.
18. i) Using the LM 723 IC regulator, design and construct the positive voltage regulator to produce
an output voltage adjustable from 8 to 16 V. Determine the maximum output current that can
be supplied.
ii) Simulate the active low pass filter for a cut off frequency of 500 Hz with IC 741 using Pspice.
19. i) Construct and design a 4-bit R-2R ladder type D/A converter. Plot the transfer
characteristics, that is binary input Vs output voltage. Calculate the resolution and linearity of
the converter from the graph.
ii) Simulate the square wave generator for a frequency of 2 KHz with IC 555 timer in Pspice.
20. i) Using LM 317 construct the circuit to find the line and load regulation.
ii) Simulate an analog multiplier using IC 565 in Pspice.
