As more communities become ‘modern’, a country as old


as India runs the risk of losing its old tribal cultures.
during the 19th century, tribal groups lived by hunting
animals and gathering forest produce. They used many
forest shrubs and herbs for medicinal purpose. They
sold forest produce in the local markets. The Baigas of
Central India did not agree to work for others.
Preservation of culture is essential for our identity.
India is a country with a diversity of culture that is
most important feature of Indian society. Tribal
culture is one of them which show the unique identity
of the tribal population in the nation. A perfect way to
preserve your traditions is to continue practicing them
in your new home. so with that, let us all keep our
country's tribal culture in mind and find ways to show
or preserve it in our home.
