Harvard’s Collaboration efforts with other institution to increase diversity
Discrimination has long been an issue for
American universities. In an effort to reduce
the alarming issue, Harvard University is
delighted to announce that we would be
collaborating with other universities in the
country to make education accessible for
students around the world.
First, Harvard is taking action with Dartmouth
College, Claremont Mckenna College and
Emory University to create a 4-week
cross-learning and developing leadership skills
program for 500 students in each school to
develop courses, projects, research, and
volunteering activities, so as to empower
marginalized communities. This program will
be targeting marginalized ethnic groups such as
the Black and the Hispanic to promote their
skillsets. Harvard, specifically, has allocated $50
million to the program, as we believe in an
equal chance for education among everyone.

Second, alongside Georgetown University and
Duke University, Harvard would like to proudly
present an online course on neuroscience
research, targeting research students, especially
in Asia and Africa. This program will allow
PhD and research students in these areas to
have a chance to study neuroscience - an
extremely important science field for the future
of the world, especially about Alzheimer's
Disease. As a major research university in the
world, Harvard will allocate $10 million to this
online course and assign our prestigious
professors to this program.
Harvard is extremely proud to be a part of
these cooperations. With these collaboration
efforts by American universities, we hope to
aspire changes and promote diversity in
American education system.
