Volkswagen case

The Volkswagen Group, based in Wolfsburg, is one of the most important car
and commercial vehicle manufacturers in the world and the largest
automobile manufacturer on the European continent. With the “TOGETHER
Strategy 2025” program, the joint lays the foundation for becoming a global
leader in sustainable mobility.

The company's goal was to create the Volkswagen car, originally called
Porsche Type 60, then Volkswagen Type 1, and commonly known as
Volkswagen Beetle. This transport was designed by the consulting firm
Ferdinand Porsche, and the organization was supported by Adolf Hitler.

Volkswagen was founded in 1937 to develop the car that became known as
the Beetle. In the 1950s and 1960s, the organization's production grew
immediately, and in 1965 it acquired Auto Union, which later produced
Audi's first post-war models. Volkswagen launched an entirely new
generation of front-wheel drive vehicles in the 1970s, including the Passat,
Polo and Golf; the latter has become his sales success. Volkswagen acquired a
majority stake in SEAT in 1986, making it the company's first non-German
brand and taking control of Škoda for the first time in 1994, after Bentley,
Lamborghini and Bugatti in 1998, after Ducati, MAN and Porsche. in 2012 and
at the end of the Traton in 2013.
In 2021, the Volkswagen Group launched its New Auto tactic. The tactic was
based on the shift to electric cars and the work of a shared platform, battery
systems, program and mobility resolutions to be used in each of its brands.
This involves building the scalable systems platform, as well as developing
the program under a completely new subsidiary called CARIAD. The
Volkswagen group aims, by 2024, to make the transition to the marketing of
mainly electric cars. Its goal is to have 6 battery factories on the European
continent by 2030.

I personally think that Volkswagen is a massive and monstrous company,

having over 30 subsidiaries and brands and being one of the most famous
and popular companies. In 2020, the Volkswagen Group was at the top of the
market, achieving a market collaboration of 12.1% with 9.33 million sales (-
14%). In recent years, they have had massive universal coverage and
managed the brand portfolio very well.
