BOTH: Let the radio show, … BEGIN!

DJ 1: Thank you! For a child, imagining things is better than facing reality. instead of just lingering

moments, a child must create their own destiny.

BOTH: Adieu! Prince, princesses, knights, and servants of the Land.

DJ 1: I am the Damsel in Distress, DJ (NAME).

DJ 2: And I am the shining pixie dust of the sand, DJ (NAME).

Both: Welcome to our morning radio show, “Once, there was no upon a time”

DJ 2: Mythical creatures and normal human beings, it is now the time when light meets its neighbors.

DJ 1: Who are they? You, you, all of you. Without further ado, let the story begin.

Both: “The Story of the Banished Angel”

“The Story of the Banished Angel”

DJ 1: Once upon a time there was a kind angel who was very attracted to shiny things, her name was Lucy. One

day she was roaming around because she was bored, and wanted to have some fun.

Lucy: I want to start my day with a new and bright journey. Since I’m bored. I want to go for a walk right now.

DJ 2: After a lot of walking, she realized she was exhausted, and wanted some rest.

Lucy: (Breathes and sighs) I thought wandering around could do me any good. But… But it just made me run

out

of breath. Hays.

DJ 2: She saw a garden filled with a variety of flowers and different plants. While she was having her rest, she

saw something shiny in the middle of the garden.

Lucy: What’s that? (footsteps) Oh, nice! Brilliant! A very nice and precious object. Hmm. I’m beginning to

enjoy my day.

DJ 1: She was surprised when she saw a shiny ring. Then, she decided to take the ring because she saw no one

in the garden.

Lucy: Perhaps, this beautiful thing was sought to meet me. Besides, it’s pretty. (Pause)

So do I. (Chuckles and laughs)

DJ 2: She immediately left the garden after she took the shiny ring. Little did she know, another angel saw her.

Angel: Hmp. What a tiny little evil creature wandering around. She even stole one of the most treasured objects

in the land. She deserves a punishment.

DJ 2: The other angel told their elder about what Lucy had done
Angel: Elder Loti, someone stole the shiny ring of the land. This deserves an immediate response.

Elder Loti: Who’s that wicked creature who stole the precious ring of the land? Find and bring it to the chambers,

now!

DJ 1: The angels bring Lucy to the chamber and Elder Loti asks her questions.

Elder Loti: Oh, Lucy my dear, did you take the most precious ring in the land?

Lucy: No, Elder Loti, “No”. I am assuring you that it’s not me.

Elder Loti: Be honest sweety. Don’t be afraid to confess about this matter.

Lucy: I saw no one, no one saw me!

DJ 1: There she accidentally confessed her crime. Elder Loti was very disappointed in Lucy because Elder Loti

knows that Lucy is a very kind angel.

Elder Loti: Are you telling me the truth?

Lucy: Yes, I am Elder Loti.

Elder Loti: Unethical. I know that you took the precious ring, and it was an uncourteous way of you saying it.

Lucy: Believe me. I never stole such a ring. NEVER!

Elder Loti: With all the power vested upon me, I renounce this little angel, for the hideous crime she committed, and

in return thereof, she must be cast away from heaven and never return until she does a good deed of

helping someone.

Lucy: No! No! No! Noooo!

DJ 2: She was cast from heaven, and she can only come back to heaven when she helps someone she truly

loves. Days have passed, and Lucy is still not used to the world she is currently in.

Lucy: How sad my life’s now. I’m not used to this kind of dirty and nasty environment. HELP!

DJ 1: While wandering around, she entered a magical forest. She saw a lot of things she had not seen until that

time and she saw a lovely unicorn, it looked so weak.

Lucy: Poor unicorn, what happened to you?

Unicorn: I have not eaten for 5 days

Lucy: You can talk? How? Are you fine?

Unicorn: I am not okay. I have not eaten anything for the past five days.

Lucy: Oh. How sad of you? How can I help?

Unicorn: I have nothing in mind, my dear friend.

Lucy: Anyway, we have been talking here for hours but I still do not know your name, may I know your name?

Unicorn: Lucy, I do not have a name, but you can give me any name.

DJ 1: Lucy named him, Natsu.

Unicorn: I like it, my name now is Natsu!

DJ 1: Natsu was feeling so bad that he became weaker. Lucy was very worried, so she decided to look for food

for her friend, Natsu.

Lucy: Hey Natsu, wait for me, okay? I will look for our food.

Unicorn: Lucy it is very difficult to look for food here, if I could have looked for food here then I should have done

it before.

Lucy: I do not understand, what do you mean? (CONFUSED)

DJ 2: Natsu explained to Lucy that in order to look for food she has to go outside the magical forest. To leave

the forest, you must have wings but because she was a fallen angel, she loses her wings. Natsu cannot fly

because he is too weak.

Lucy: I will do everything that I can Natsu, okay? I will try to look for food here in the magical forest, wait for

me, okay?

DJ 2: She did her best to look for food but all she could see were weird plants that were not edible. She even

forgot that she had a punishment.

Lucy: Help me, please. Help me! Help me. (YELLING) Can somebody tell me where I can find any food?

Please, my friend is dying. (crying and sobbing)

DJ 1: She pleaded but no one could hear her inside the magical forest. Anyone can enter the magical forest but

not everyone can leave. Lucy was crying because she cannot lose Natsu. Even though they have only

been friends for a short period of time she cannot lose someone she considers a special person in her life.

Lucy: I just realized how it feels to be alone and to be lonely. Because of him I now know the essence of life, I

have discovered so many things in just a span of time just because of Natsu.

DJ 2: She felt at home and comfortable with Natsu, so she does not want to lose him. While she was walking,

she was crying so hard to the point where she cannot see the pathway. She sat near a tree because she was

so tired of walking and crying beside a tree, she saw one banana.

Lucy: I’m exhausted. I’m tired. For god’s sake, help me. (pause) Oh. Oh. A banana. Thank God for the

immediate response to my prayer. I really appreciate it.

DJ 2: Lucy does not care if she cannot eat the important thing is that Natsu’s hunger will be relieved. She was

very exhausted from running but she did not stop for Natsu.

Lucy: THIS IS FOR NATSU! I CAN DO THIS!

DJ 2: Lucy arrived immediately where she left Natsu and gives the banana.

Lucy: Hey Natsu, I am back here with a banana. You have to eat this (hoarse voice)

Unicorn: Lucy, why are you crying?

Lucy: It’s just a tear of joy. I’m so happy to see my efforts bear fruit by giving you a piece of banana.
DJ 1: After a sequence of events, Natsu felt something was wrong that made him become weaker. Natsu

vomited the banana. And then, his mouth started to foam.

Unicorn: (vomiting) Ah. Ah, I can’t breathe Help me. Lucy, I can’t breathe. Ah. Ah (shortness of breathing)

DJ 2: Sadly, Natsu loses his breath. Lucy was crying so badly because she had just realized how she killed her

only friend. Little did she know that it was a poisonous banana.

Lucy: I thought, I knew, and I felt that that banana can do any benefit to Natsu, but it made things worse. And

along with that, he died. And it’s my fault. Ahhh. (crying)

DJ 2: Moments after her mourning, a light came from heaven, and she heard a voice.

Elder Loti: Our dear Lucy, you can now finally come back here, to our home.

DJ 1: She stopped crying and her wings started to grow back. Then in just a single blink of an eye, she entered

heaven once again.

Lucy: Despite what I did, Elder Loti and the angels have reconsidered my actions. I'm very grateful that they

accepted me.

DJ 1: Then, at an unexpected moment, Natsu was waiting for Lucy at the gate. Lucy was shocked and hugged

tightly Natsu.

Elder Loti: You did pass the punishment I gave you and as a reward, you will be accepted and forgiven here in

heaven.

DJ 2: They were both grateful and their eyes were once again twinkling. Lucy regretted what she did and

started a new life with her friend, Natsu.

BOTH: The end of the story. Thank you for listening!

DJ 1: We hope you learn something from the story that we shared with you.
