The graph below shows consumers’ average annual expenditure on cellphones,

national and international fixed-line and services in America between 2001 and
2010.

The given line chart highlights the normal spending on mobile phones, Nationwide
and Worldwide fixed-line in the United States from the year 2001 to 2010.
Overall, it is noticeable from the chart that an opposite pattern occurred when the
money spent on cellphones facilities gradually increased over nine years, while the
National fixed-line services witnessed a declining number during the same period.
Looking at the statistics of mobile phone services in the year 2001, the amount of
expenditure which was paid for this facility started at 200 dollars, which took up the
lowest figure among other fix-lines services. However, this number surged remarkably
by 100 dollars in 2002 and continued to stay at 300 dollars in 2003. In the year 2010,
people spent over 700 dollars on this service, which finally became the most used
service by US residents.
Moving to the given data of National and International fixed-line services. Initially, in
the year 2001, the Nationwide fixed-line made up the maximum spending among other
services, up to 700 dollars annually, followed by approximately 250 dollars of Worldwide
fixed-line provider. There was also a significant growth in the year 2003 of International
service, up to more than 300 dollars before entering the unchanged period from 2004 to
2008, and it rose slightly in 2010. Meanwhile, the Nationwide facility has plunged
dramatically, down to 400 dollars in the same examined year.
