With the change in the sphere of globalisation, the role and importance of culture have taken a different shape in ways by which it has started

immemorial, the role of culture has taken an effective role in positioning the parameters of success of the business by affecting the corporate
cultural system immensely. Furthermore, in this present society that is mostly characterized by immense expansion of globalization and
diminished barriers in trade, business organizations have been able to succinctly expand outside the territories and borders of their domestic
regions and markets to reach a wider customer base and increase their revenues respectively.
One of the biggest challenges, in this domain, has given light to both positive and negative aspects that business organizations feel to set their
target holistically. Some of the main challenges that have been imposed because of globalization is the cultural differences that is prevalent
between different countries and nationalities that business organizations frequently and inevitably face while operating in various countries.

2. Rationale and Literature Review
The rationale of the Study
The following study will analyze the relationship between national culture and organizational culture and its efficacy on an
international domain. To understand the core of international business management comprehensively, it is fundamental to analyze
the importance of national and its impact on organizational culture to further expand the business. With due consideration, the
following paper will culture understand the relationship between Barclays Bank in both United Kingdom as well as Sweden to
understand how organizational culture is primarily undertaken with the support of the role of the respective country, thereby
shedding light on the efficacy of their global operational prospect and culture respectively.
One bank will be taken into consideration to understand how a similar business operates in two different global arenas and how
effective organizational culture enhances and amplifies the national culture respectively.

To run a business with utmost effectiveness and efficacy, it is important for business leaders and managers to grasp the importance of
culture and understand the ways by which their business domain performs, reacts, and behaves in an international arena. As per Hofstede
(1983), the role of managers and leaders in a business organization helps to coordinate the efforts of the people present and at the same time
use the economic as well as technical sources to obtain the required objectives significantly. Differences in culture become noticeable while
engaging in multinational business connections. Since these principles reflect the nation's culture, the concepts of domestic country
leadership cannot be implemented properly in a multicultural country. Culture has a significant impact on workforce norms and is
significant for managers (Rubino et al., 2020). Consequently, using international governance methods typically stands in contrast to the
relevance of the country's activities. To effectively execute a global workforce, it is necessary to have a full understanding of the concept and
workforce principles. Cultural influences would have a bearing on hiring procedures, labor desire, business contacts, and workplace
connections respectively.

With time, the aspect of cultural sensitivity has become one of the most significant aspects of International Business (Mansouri et al., 2018).
As companies are growing with time and becoming global in their approach, the aspect of cross-cultural mobility has become quite common
and appropriate in these aspects (Martínez-Caro et al., 2020). There is no doubt that culture is one of the most important aspects that help in
bringing shape to the ways by which a domestic business wants to operate in an international context. Furthermore, with factors like
communication, attitude and etiquette, the factors of cultural aspects are seen in a much larger aspect that helps the business organizations in
shaping a stand for themselves in the international community (Mahomed et al., 2022).

One of the most important parameters of understanding the importance of culture and internationalization in the efficacy of business
organisations is the concept of international business management. In the sphere of international business management, it is important for
managers and leaders to make effective decisions that will help in their success and help them grow amidst the cultural context. It is seen that
managers who have strong leadership quality and managerial concepts have acquired effective results (Kumar and Sharma, 2018).

4.  Methodology
The following methodology that will be taken into effect is with the help of both primary and secondary data analysis. To understand
the relationship between organizational culture and national culture in an international context, a significant exploratory research
design will be taken into consideration. Furthermore, a qualitative case study of the Barclays Bank of both Sweden, as well as the
United Kingdom, will be taken into effect. The following paper will take into light both theoretical as well as empirical evidence with
the various aspects of the subject therefore both secondary as well as primary data will be taken into effect for the subject’s accuracy
and feasibility.
