1. Find out 3 main problems and explain in detail all 3 problems.

 Delay in Delivery- unscheduled downtime and receiving faulty goods can occur
on a daily basis These problems enrage clients, who are eager to learn why they
happen and when they will receive their package or reimbursement. Customers
are less likely to revisit if deliveries are late. Late deliveries, as a result, have a
significant impact on customer lifetime value and the return on investment made
to attract the lost consumers in the first place. Furthermore, late deliveries raise
customer acquisition costs-when lose customers as a result of late delivery, one
may expect poor word of mouth and online reviews, making it more difficult (and
expensive) to recruit new customers. Foodpanda’s optimal time of delivery is
sixty minutes which is by far much longer than any other competitor takes. This
time sometimes gets extended by ninety minutes as well.

 Constraints in Geographic Segmentation- Geographic segmentation is basically

the process of dividing your audience into groups based on where they live or
work. This can be done in a variety of ways, including grouping clients by nation
of residence, or smaller geographical divisions, such as region, city, and postal
code. In the case of Foodpanda they did claim about offering their services to
Dhaka, Chittagong and Sylhet cities. But that does not seem to be enough. There
is a high demand of online food service in other regions of the country too.
Talking about the capital of Bangladesh which Dhaka, even though they said they
have their services being provided to wider part of the city, they often fail to cover
areas a little far from the location of restaurants. Many a times they cancel the
order in the middle of nowhere. Hence their geographic positioning and
operations are not up to the mark.

 Zero Switching Cost - Foodpanda now faces dozens of new rivals in the
marketplace. Because of the strong demand for food delivery services in
Bangladesh, new websites and applications are frequently established.
HungryNaki, Pathao, Foodmart, Majadar, Justknockbd, and others are well-
known delivery systems. These online food delivery services provide benefits that
Foodpanda does not, such as faster delivery, a wider range of offerings, and a
simpler signup process. Their unique features appeal to a wide range of clients.
As a result, customers tend to swap platforms based on their preferences. If people
wish to migrate to another platform where the delivery cost is minimal, or there
are any discounts or incentives to take advantage of, or even if they desire a quick
delivery time, they must pay no switching expenses. Customers can change their
online order platforms at any time, and they will not be charged for it. People are
clever enough to put orders on the site, ensuring quick delivery and good prices.
As a result, Foodpanda is experiencing a challenge with rising retention costs.
2. Select 1 main problem and explain why you have chosen this to be the main problem

The biggest issue, we believe, ought to be the delivery delay. A late delivery system
irritates clients and gives a negative picture of the organization. We identified this issue
as the most important since it has the potential to ruin our relationships with our target
customers and business partners. Consumers and partner restaurants may have a negative
view of you, and your sales may suffer as a result.

People's life revolves around the concept of time. Everyone is chasing their dream in this
hectic, timetabled existence. Most people neglect to look after themselves while chasing
the objective. All of these people can continue on with their daily lives with the help of
an online food delivery service. Women will be able to spend more time with their
families than in the past. We can readily envision the impact a late delivery might have
on a brand in our day where time is such a valuable commodity. People generally lose
their temper when a delivery arrives much later than expected, as the meal tends to get
cold and taste bad. For online meal delivery companies like Foodpanda, maintaining a
high-quality food supply and a quick delivery system is critical. Customers are
dissatisfied by late deliveries, and your customer retention rate suffers as a result. Most of
the time, though, it is not Foodpanda's fault. Late deliveries are caused by traffic and, in
certain cases, by restaurants taking longer to prepare food. However, it has a significant
detrimental influence on the company.

The primary reason for using Foodpanda is to save time. If time is spent in this manner,
the basic aim of delivering food platforms is jeopardized. As a result, customers have a
negative experience. Even from the perspective of a business partner, they would not
want to do business with a brand that does not guarantee a speedy delivery system.
Participating restaurants cannot be harmed by their partners' late delivery systems
because this results in a negative rating of the restaurant. These poor knockoffs will have
a significant impact on their earnings. Foodpanda will lose its business relationships as
well as customers if it does not take urgent action on the issue.

Foodpanda's food delivery has an optimal wait time of no more than 60 minutes. At the
same time, Foodpanda frequently exceeds this period, reaching 90 minutes or more.
Foodpanda is unable to control its delivery pace, which is critical in achieving client
happiness. They are surpassing their own anticipated time limit, which puts them in
danger of running out of time. As a result, of all of the issues we've mentioned so far,
"Customer Dissatisfaction Due to Late Delivery" is currently Foodpanda's most serious
issue.
