Instructions
Having a list of locally available LTAs will support you in identifying potential savings when cooperating
with other UN organizations. This list is a necessary prerequisite for the work shop.
Please use the next sheet for collecting the data. You can adapt this template and add or delete columns
as you see fit. This document contains the most important information and this data should be fairly
straightforward to gather. A good example of how this template can be used in practice has been shared
by the Tanzania country team. Please find this example under 'Tools and Templates' at
http://www.ungm.org/Harmonization/harmonizationGuidelines.aspx.
Required
Column A: A running number starting from 1
Column B: The good or service covered by the LTA; for example "Travel Management Services" or "Fire
Extinguisher"; Please mention the category here
Column C: Provide a short description of the good or service with the most relevant information for other
organizations which would like to use this LTA. This could include certain specifications or relevant
product details, shipment and delivery information, restrictions or instructions about the use of the LTA
etc.
Column D: The name of the supplier
Column E: If you piggy-back on another organization's LTA, please enter here the name of that
organization
Column F: Also, enter contact details at the organization which established the LTA
Extended Information
Column G: If available, include the UNSPSC Code(s) or UNSSC Code(s). Please also see workbook
sheet number 3: "UNSPSC Categories".
Column H: The date when the contract was/will be established
Column I: The date when the contract was/will be expired
Column J: Contact information of the supplier
Column K: The identifier used at your organization for the LTA
Column L: The current Status of the LTA, e.g. "DUE FOR RENEWAL", "RENEWED", "AWAITING
SUPPLIER REPLY", "EXPIRED", "NEW" etc.
