Advantage and disadvantage of internet

Good morning to my English teacher and my fellow friends.

Today I'll be doing the test with my friend finished. The picture shows 5 degrees is used for
educational purposes. We have decided to talk about the advantage and disadvantage of the
internet I'm going to start off with the advantages of internet

Internet helps in home- based learning that we are currently facing. Classes conducted through
internet facilitate teaching and learning.

There are no other better means than home based learning through internet. It enables a effective
interaction between teachers and students.

Furthermore, internet or the best source of the latest information and faster update. makes it quick
and easy to access information. We don't have to refer to tons of books to find information to help
us in our studies. This also helps to save time and energy.

What do you think about this?

I also think that many social networking sites such as whatsapp and telegram are helpful to students.
This is because, students are able to exchange ideas and opinions and also clarify doubts through
these sites.

Lastly, the Internet is accessible 24x7 which means that it never closes. As long as the students are
having a computer and an internet connection, they will be able to access the internet by any
means. This means that students can access information whenever they wish indipendantly

Indeed the internet is the greatest invention in a students’ life, however there are some
disadvantages and my friend will talk on this.

Despite the advantages there are also disadvantages to the internet. The most concerning
disadvantage of the internet is that, it causes health issues.

Students need to use a computer or a smartphone for accessing the internet. Using the smart
devices for a prolonged period of time could contribute to various physical problems such as neck
pain, back pain and eye pain.

particularly the light that is being emitted by the smart devices are known to cause numerous eye
problems. Students who use smart devices for a long term are reporting health issues in eyes such as
blurred vision and problems while focusing.

Do you have anything to add?

I concur with you on this. Even for a student's education, internet can be misused to promote
laziness. Unlike a library where information could just be read, internet allows contents to be copied.
In case of a university assignment or a school homework, some students simply copy paste
information from the internet. From such an action, students will never learn the key concepts
behind the internet information.

So, what is your opinion on CDs and also virtual reality, which is a new technology?
While virtual reality can be a great asset for most of the existent fields of activity, it can also be a
huge disadvantage such as lack of flexibility because everyone is built different. Pupils could get
addicted to virtual reality and loose connections with the real world. As a result, students will rely
more on virtual interactions and wouldn’t know how to socially interact with real people in the real
world, moreover virtual reality gadgets are quite expensive.

As for CDs and DVDs they can easily be damaged or corrupted. It is also useless if we don’t have a CD
or DVD player. They might have been used widely in the past, but in this modern world it is just not
relevant to use them.

Could you elaborate more on eBooks and interactive whiteboards, I’m eager to know what you think
about them.

I don’t think interactive whiteboard will be my choice for educational purpose because interactive
whiteboard will have problems like Remote Access Issues.

Some educators encourage classroom discussion and allow for multiple data entries. For example, a
teacher might allow students to interact on the whiteboard using their own computers. This can
result in mixed signals, an overload of inputs and on-screen nonsense.

i also think that e-books won’t be my choice because You have to stare at a screen. For those of who
stare at a screen all day for work, this is a huge disadvantage. Eye strain, from staring at screens too
long, has become quite a health problem. Some people don’t mind, but I do.

The timing has never been better for using technology to enable and improve learning at all levels, in
all places, and for people of all backgrounds. We can say with certainty that gadgets in education can
improve the learning as well as teaching experience and make it easy to understand anything
