Architecture creates the physical environment in which people live and is also part of our culture as it stands and
represent how we see ourselves as well as how we see the world

6. Compare and contrast between architecture and art. 


The main difference between art and architecture is that art is a process of creating things of value through
emotional or aesthetic appeal and architecture is a both the process and product of planning design and
construction. However they both share a similarities in the design, designers and individual meaning and both are
built with the same ideas features and engagement to mind.

7. List various branches of architecture.

. Landscape architect - to ensure the development proposals can be accommodated in the landscape in a way that
is appropriate to the existing content which will not have an adverse effect either on the landscape itself on the
people who experience it.
. Interior designer - it evokes happiness and seeds the soul and it can inspire confidence creativity security and
energy.
. Architectural technologist - They provide technical guidance to clients with construction design teams to bring
new structures to life
. Architectural engineering - They possess the knowledge and qualifications to work on complex buildings, to
lead project teams and also to provide us with a safe civilised environment

9. Mention the subject areas required for a secondary school student who aspires to study architecture in
the university.

At a young age, I have always had the skill of being creative and I think that is important when wanting to
become an architect as you can create different ideas that are unique to anything else.
