* Due to the open nature of this garment, each size will accommodate a good range of chest
measurements. The back of the vest is designed to be skinny and the long arm openings
allow the garment to fall on a slant giving this vest its waterfall appearance. The sample in
the photograph is a size Small, model is an Australian 10 (US 6) with a 39” bust.
Tension/Gauge
Hdc worked over 16 stitches and 12 rows measures 4” (10 cm) square using
a size 6 mm (US J) crochet hook. It is essential to work to the stated tension
to ensure success.

This vest is worked in rows from side to side. Hdc is the stitch used Row 26. Ch 2 then work 1 hdc in back loop of each stitch across, turn.

BACK - RIGHT
The hdc stitches are worked in the back loop only for the fronts of the
vest for subtle texture. Re-attach yarn using sl from wrong side to underside of Row 1 of BACK –
LEFT.
This vest looks great over knitted dresses or fitted long sleeved tops
and skinny jeans. A pin can be used to bring in the vest at the chest
