Shaqeela and David the National Science Olympics Champions

Shaqeela metavani and david dharmawan, students from Kebunrejo senior high
school, Banyuwangi, East Java, won the gold medal at national science Olympic held in
Jakarta between January 03 to 09, Gemintang news agency reported.

Speaking to journalist, David said they was glad that they had been able to win the
competition, which he said had been very tight. “I’m Thank to god for our victory. We
will study harder to international science Olympics,” he said.

Kebunrejo senior high school sent 6 students to the Olympic with different fields.
Qeela and David is the first kebunrejo students to win a national Olympic. In the previous
years, kebunrejo always sends representatives to joined the Olympic, but only reaches the
city level.

The principal of kebunrejo, Mr. Fikqy said, “I thank to Shaqeela and David for giving a
good name to kebunrejo and banyuwangi on national science Olympic. I hope they will
do the best too in international science Olympic to represent Indonesia,” quoted by
gemilang.

Shaqeela Metavani and David Dharmawan, students from Kebunrejo Senior High
School, Banyuwangi, East java, won the gold medal at national science Olympic
held in Jakarta between January 03 to 09.

Intan : Shaqeela and David were the first kebunrejo students to win a National
Olympics. In previous years, kebunrejo always sent representatives to the

Aisyah aulia : Oke thanks Intan and Satria. Good morning viewers, I’m currently
in Kebunrejo Senior High School, Banyuwangi, East Java. Here I’m as well as the
headmeaster of Kebunrejo Senior High School, Mr. Fikqy. Good morning sir,
how are you?

Fikqy : Good morning, thank God, I’m fine

Aisyah : Oke sir, here I want to ask about the achievement that have been
achieved by two students of kebunrejo senior high school.

Fikqy : Ok please

Aisyah aulia : How do you feel about the achievement that have been achived by
ananda Shaqeela Metavani and David Dharmawan considering this is the first
achievement achieved by Kebunrejo Senior High School on the national level.
Fikqy : I thank to Shaqeela and David for giving a good name to Kebunrejo and
Banyuwangi on National Science Olympics. I hope they also do their best in the
International Science Olympic to represent Indonesia.

Aisyah aulia : What does the school offer to make this wish come true?

Fikqy : The school provides full support, we provide adequate learning facilities
for both of them. and we will always accompany them all the times.

Aisyah aulia : How did you feel after winning the National Science Olympics?

Shaqeela : Yes, of course we’re very happy and we’re didn’t expect that to be able
to this achievement

David : Yes, we also didn't expect to be at the other participants. And I’m so
thankful for our victory. We will work harder to study the International Science Olympics

Aisyah aulia : How did you guys win the National Science Olympics?

David : Yes, so first there was a selection at school to take part in the Olympics at
the sub-district level, where there were 20 students who took part in the selection.
After doing the selection, it turned out that we were both representative from
school to take part in the Olympics. We started participating in the Olympics from
the sub-district level and we passed to the national level.
Shaqeela : Yes, and now we are currently preparing for the International Science
Olympics

Aisyah aulia : Waw, that’s the long journey, by the way how about the
competition?

Shaqeela : emm, there was very tight! The participants alone included 285 people
from 34 provinces. The questions given during the competition are also difficult.
But with teamwork and high confidence, David and I can work on these questions
smoothly

David : Yes, we are very grateful to have won the competition.

Aisyah Aulia : So, how to prepare for the International Science Olympics?

David : In preparation, we share opinions ask our biology teacher for additions to
learn more about science.

Shaqeela : We have also increased our study hours more often than usual, and we
also didn't forget to keep praying for the smoothness in working on the questions
later and ask for prayers from family at home and at school.
