INTRODUCTION

This document is the product of an essay for collective construction among the knowledge
of entrepreneurship that allows us to understand more thoroughly the types and
characteristics of this subject.

ENTREPRENEURSHIP ESSAY

Emerging technologies have great transformative potential for businesses, especially

those that are embracing cloud-based solutions, intelligent automation, or immersive
experiences. In their latest report on emerging technologies, they highlight the key role that
the metaverse, Web3, super applications, autonomous systems, sustainability in the cloud
or the observability of data will have in technological progress.

Digital experiences are evolving towards the immersive and this will be achieved thanks to
several emerging technologies that will facilitate the creation of virtual environments for
different business fields and destined for mass consumption. Other innovations such as
decentralized identity, digital humans or digital twins will also play an important role, which
will be essential to build new business models in the Internet of the future, where new
revenue streams based on immersive experiences will emerge.

AI is expanding into new environments and in the future it will be part of countless digital
applications, products and services. Gartner believes that AI automation will redefine the
role of humans in AI development, delivering more accurate predictions and decisions and
accelerating time to value.

These emerging technologies will help drive the automation of AI, ease its integration to
new levels, and drive the benefits derived from AI.

Colombia already has its first circular economy laboratory. The laboratory is located in the
SENA Industrial Management Center in Bogotá. Its implementation also had the support
of the Minambiente, the Mayor's Office of Bogotá, Prysmian Group-Procables, Vision
30/30, the ANDI circular economy initiative, Esenttia, Acoplásticos, Fundación Familia,
Siemens, Grupo ACI, the National Association of Recyclers and the Association of Recyclers
of Bogotá. It focuses on training, certification of labor skills, research and design of
prototypes with recycled materials, promoting innovation for the transition to a circular
economy, a model that is based on the reduction of consumption, the reuse of products
and the recycling.

The creative industries constitute the engine of the creative economy, which represent
the cycles of creation, production and distribution of goods and services whose
fundamental basis is creativity and intellectual capital. With the advancement of
technology, the appearance of the Internet and its use for commercial transactions, the
way of doing business, the organizational structure and communication from company to
client have changed.

ENSAYO EMPRENDIMIENTO

Las tecnologías emergentes tienen un gran potencial transformador para las empresas,
especialmente aquellas que están adoptando soluciones basadas en la nube, la
automatización inteligente o las experiencias inmersivas. En su último informe sobre sobre
tecnologías emergentes destacan el papel clave que tendrán el metaverso, la Web3, las
superaplicaciones, los sistemas autónomos, la sostenibilidad en la nube o la
observabilidad de los datos en el progreso tecnológico.

Las experiencias digitales están evolucionando hacia lo inmersivo y esto se logrará

gracias a varias tecnologías emergentes que facilitarán la creación de entornos virtuales
para diferentes ámbitos empresariales y destinados al gran consumo. También tendrán un
papel importante otras innovaciones como la identidad descentralizada, los humanos
digitales o los gemelos digitales, que serán fundamentales para construir nuevos modelos
de negocio en el Internet del futuro, donde surgirán nuevas vías de ingresos basadas en
experiencias inmersivas.

La IA está expandiéndose a nuevos entornos y en el futuro formará parte de infinidad de

aplicaciones, productos y servicios digitales. En Gartner opinan que la automatización de
la IA redefinirá el papel de los humanos en el desarrollo de la inteligencia artificial,
ofreciendo predicciones y decisiones más precisas y acelerando la obtención de
beneficios.

Estas tecnologías emergentes ayudarán a impulsar la automatización de la IA, facilitarán

su integración a nuevos niveles e impulsarán los beneficios derivados de la IA.

Colombia cuenta ya con su primer laboratorio de economía circular. El laboratorio está

ubicado en el Centro de Gestión Industrial del SENA en Bogotá. Su puesta en marcha
también contó con el apoyo del Minambiente, Alcaldía de Bogotá, Prysmian Group-
Procables, Visión 30/30, la iniciativa de economía circular de la ANDI, Esenttia,
Acoplásticos, Fundación Familia, Siemens, Grupo ACI, la Asociación Nacional de
Recicladores y la Asociación de Recicladores de Bogotá. Se enfoca en la formación,
certificación de competencias laborales, investigación y diseño de prototipos con
materiales reciclados, fomentando la innovación para la transición a una economía
circular, un modelo que se basa en la reducción del consumo, en la reutilización de
productos y en el reciclaje.

Las industrias creativas constituyen el motor de la economía creativa, que representan los
ciclos de creación, producción y distribución de los bienes y servicios que tienen como
base fundamental la creatividad y el capital intelectual. Con el avance de la tecnología, la
aparición de internet y su utilización para las transacciones comerciales, han cambiado la
forma de hacer los negocios, la estructura organizacional y la comunicación de empresa a
cliente.

With the advancement of technology, the advent of the Internet and its use for commercial
transactions, the way of doing business, the organizational structure and communication of
the client company has changed.
