A book, a flag, a monument, a document would remain simply data and will never be a
historical source without the human element. What does this mean?

It just simple mean that there is no better historical source without the person
who really experience that history to tell what really happen in the scenario.

When a book is created to tell the history those are the person who actually
survive to create that book but is that the real story or just a made-up story that’s why
we need a person who really experience that history to tell us what really happen in that
era because there is history that they made their selves look good in that story.

Understanding and studying the history will help us to know what happen to the
past that made us now the present. In conclusion it doesn’t really matter on what story,
data, book you have read what really matter is that you understand the past the history
so that the mistake happen in the past won’t happen again in the future.
