*if you don’t want to make a clear canopy,

you can use this alternate interior part

to make a bubble canopy, find a clear plastic bubble from a package

and trim a dome big enough to cover the interior opening.
force the dome into a squared shape matching the interior opening.
if you leave some tabs on the bubble, you can cut slots in the top
of the car body to locate the canopy and hold it in place.
