MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT

This Memorandum of Agreement is made and executed between:

TANAUAN INSTITUTE, INC., a duly organized Educational Institution and existing

under Philippine Laws, with office/business address at J.V. Gonzales St., Brgy. 4, Tanauan City,
Batangas, represented herein by its CHIEF FINANCE OFFICER/VICE PRESIDENT,
MRS. ANNA KARENINA COLLANTES-VILLAMIEL, hereinafter referred to as the
SCHOOL.

and

MICROTEL INN SUITES., a domestic corporation/establishment duly organized and

existing under Philippine Laws, with office/business address at Sto. Tomas City, Batangas
represented herein by its AREA GENERAL MANAGER, MR. NORMAN EUSEBIO
hereinafter referred to as the COMPANY.

WITNESSETH:

The parties hereby bind themselves to undertake a Memorandum of Agreement for the
purpose of supporting the SCHOOL’s on-the-job training for their student-trainee/s under the
following terms and conditions:

1. The SCHOOL shall be responsible for briefing the on-the-job student-trainee/s who intend/s
to conduct practicum exposure in the COMPANY as part of the SCHOOL’s curriculum;

2. The SCHOOL shall provide the on-the-job student-trainee/s the basic orientation on work
values, behaviour, and discipline to ensure smooth cooperation with the COMPANY;

3. The SCHOOL shall issue an official endorsement vouching for the well-being of the on-the-
job student-trainee/s which shall be used by the COMPANY for processing the application of
the student-trainee/s;

4. The SCHOOL shall voluntarily withdraw student-trainee/s who is/are found to misbehave
and/or act in defiance to the existing standards, rules and regulations of the COMPANY and
shall impose necessary sanctions to the said student-trainee/s;

5. The COMPANY may grant allowance to student-trainee/s in accordance with the

COMPANY’s existing rules and regulations;

6. The COMPANY is not obliged to employ student-trainee/s upon completion of the training;

7. The COMPANY is responsible in providing the trainee/s experience, exposure and/or

improvement of their basic and (more importantly) their core competencies in the real-world
setting;

8. The trainee/s shall be personally responsible for any and all liabilities arising from their own
negligence while in the performance of their duties and functions during their training with
the company. Furthermore, the SCHOOL shall not be held liable for any injury to a 3 rd
person or damage to any property caused by the negligence or misdemeanour of the student-
trainee/s.
9. There is no employer-employee relationship between the COMPANY and the student-
trainee/s;

10. The student-trainee/s reporting time is 8:00am–5:00pm. Subject to the approval of the
company, the student-trainee/s may work beyond the reporting time when the need arises,
provided that it will not interrupt the class schedule of trainee/s;

11. The duration of the program shall be equivalent to six hundred (600) working hours.

12. This Memorandum of Agreement shall become effective upon the signature of both parties
and shall continue to be valid until the completion of the six hundred (600) hours.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF the parties have signed this Memorandum of Agreement at STO
TOMAS CITY BATANGAS Philippines this 25th day of April 2022.
