In this ever-evolving world we are living in, advancements in all aspects are being made that

can help us understand and improve training methods used by HR practitioners. Several
research data have been published about adopting a system of training models for
organization. It is deemed that the science of training has progressed and matured for there are
several developments has been made.

The journal suggests that the quality and quantity of research relating to training has been
increasing throughout the years – whether theoretical, methodological or empirical work and is
meant to stay that way in years to come. For our world is ever changing new ideas must come
by for training development. It is said that for it to progress, new developments must entail
change in how we design, implement, learn and train in organizations. Yet several disciplines
such as cognitive ability, self-efficacy, goal orientation, motivations, human factors and
psychological factors are needed to be looked upon to improve training research. However, the
list is not exclusive the study suggests that collaboration and dialogue between disciplines are
needed to improve training research.

Accordingly, technological advancements forms part of the ever-changing world and it does
affect training. Several institutions such as the military, industrial, and educational institutions
embrace it and makes it part of their training. Technology provides us with new platforms that
saves the organization risks and costs an example of which are simulators – it is now not
needed to use the real thing, instead an organization may opt for the use of a simulator to
simulate the environment they need for the training. However, it is important that in the
practice of developed training methods made from the data gathered form training research,
the effectiveness of such must be measured and evaluated.

It is now the time to eliminate the thinking that training research is faddish, dull, and irrelevant.
It is important to appreciate the science behind training, for it gives us the insights on what to
improve and develop training programs tailor fit for an institution. Hence, training research is
important since the world is ever-changing new technologies are emerging as well as new
approaches. One cannot hold into the past and use the same technique over and over again for
it becomes obsolete. As new industries and technology emerge new training methods are
needed for the organizations to adapt and improve.
