As a Southern Baptist association, we seek to support and serve alongside the Bride of Christ to
proclaim the “gospel above all” to the River Region of Central Alabama by:
Meeting human need and planting gospel seed;
Saturating the River Region with community evangelism and church planting; and,
Calling out the called to carry the message of Jesus across the street and around the world.

“Lord Send Me, I’ll Go!”

Zach Beasley leads RealTalk College Ministry (RTCM) as the
Baptist Campus Minister at Alabama State University and
Tuskegee University. He recently led a team of students to the
Kenyan mission field. Montgomery Baptist Association offered
funding support through the Judge Ted Bozeman Missionary
Sending Fund. Zach and wife, Nicole, are members at Strong
Tower at Washington Park where he is the Youth Pastor.

(Alabama State University Baptist Campus Ministry) began engaging African
American students on the campus of ASU for the sake of the gospel and building
the kingdom of God. Starting out as a men’s
Bible study, the ministry grew to 30+ male
and female students over the course of a
semester. Halfway through the second
semester, the students were dispersed across
the world due to the announcement of the
pandemic. A year later in the midst of
Covid, we organized a team of seven
missionaries to go to Nairobi, Kenya on a
vision trip. While in Kenya, we asked the
question, “What is the greatest need in
Kenya?” and the response was consistent that more African Americans are needed
on mission. Who better than a ministry that serves African American students at In person Registration also available:

people give their lives to Christ and get introduced to a healthy church where they
can be discipled.
This is why we do what we do! So that lives may be transformed. Our goal is to
make disciples that make disciples in country and abroad. If we introduce African
Americans to missions in college and
faithfully train them, I am confident that
we can shift the paradigm of what a
missionary looks like and who goes on
mission. This can only be accomplished
through prayer, partnership, and
preparation.
Therefore, we are working diligently to
prepare students to go and share the
Gospel to all nations. Will you join us in
praying, training, and sending people of
color to engage the world for Christ.
