My name is Lilly Arvin and I am currently a sen-
ior at Hamilton High School. Throughout my
time at Hamilton High School I have been in-
volved in various extracurricular and student
groups. I am a four year varsity athlete for both
Hamilton’s soccer and bowling teams. I also
have been involved with student council and na-
tional honor society for three years. Within
these programs and organizations I was able to
build leadership skills and a community. The
involvement in student government and national
honor society gave me the opportunity to serve

up neighborhoods around Hamilton through the ing in Grades 7-12 Mathematics.
17 Strong non-profit organization, and improv-
ing and supporting the future generations of Hamilton Women’s soccer through volunteering
at youth camps and regular futsal games. My pursuit of a degree in education began in mid-
dle school. I realized the impact my teachers had on me and wanted to do the same for future
generations. I had teachers who showed up physically and mentally to build relationships
with not only myself but other students in ways that made a welcoming environment in
which we felt safe and cared for. Having the opportunity to make a difference in just one
middle schooler’s life is a great blessing and this desire has pushed me into the education
field.
