Drawn From the Black Gulfs – Both 1 and 2 on your dice count as hitches when performing any
action that the GM feels smacks of delving in black magic or otherwise practicing thaumaturgy
of the most evil kind. All hitches rolled must be purchased and added to the Doom Pool unless
you take the hitch(es) as a complication without gaining any PP.
I’ve Squandered Enough Gold to Fill a Galleon – During Growth you may destroy a Loot asset
to add its die to your Growth Pool and activate any Growth-specific SFX attached to the asset.
Dice added to your Growth Pool in this way are not returned to your pool if the roll fails.
Your Doom Is at Hand – In a high stakes scene, characters may not spend a PP to avoid being
taken out. Instead, characters must take Trauma to remain in the scene. When Trauma is
stepped up past D12, your character is dead.
Together We Fall – Once per roll a character may add a single trait to an Ally’s pool after the
roll has been made, but before any results are chosen. If the roll succeeds, step down your trait
for the session and activate an opportunity to recover. If the roll fails, step up the die and add it
to the Doom Pool.
