Driving Skill Challenge for Women

This event is conceived for women of all strata in Kerala and the
Participants will be the blend of young female drivers, house-wives, working
women etc…

Women’s motor vehicle driving has been changing over time and is still
changing. Much more driving is done by women today than in the past.

More women are driving and they are driving more distances. They are also
driving at older ages. There is a Large Population of Women qualified in
Driving Test and apprehensive to take on the roads of Kerala Traffic.

This Event will be an ice breaker for many such Women.

In the present study, attitudes towards women road safety issues, driving
behavior in specific hypothetical situations, accident risk perception, and
concerns about such a risk, we focused only on young women drivers to
better understand the role of driver in road safety attitudes in a period of
life in which risky behaviors are widespread for males and females.

Female drivers achieve success, but face challenges!!

Every year, many people are killed or severely injured in motor vehicle accidents
on the front line, the road authorities all over India are trying different
alternatives to change driver behavior to reduce road accidents and general costs
to society.

To promote Safe and Responsible Driving…

Being a safe and responsible driver takes a combination of knowledge, skill and
attitude.
To begin, you must know the traffic laws and driving practices that help traffic
move safely. Breaking these “rules of the road” is the major cause of collisions.

Promote Safe and Responsible Driving…

Our aim to suggest that worry over risky situations may help in reducing
hazardous behaviors. Both men and women were able to understand and
to detect risk, but only women showed concern about the risk.
Furthermore, as observed in our sample, men's driving behavior seems to
confirm that young men are more prone to accept road violations and to
justify alcohol consumption. Surely, prevention programs should consider
these aspects and focus on worries that could increase careful driving
behaviors.

Promote Safe and Responsible Parking…

Even today, many people who are driving vehicles are not aware of the
Parking rules in the country. According to MV Act, It is an offence to park
or abandon your vehicle at a public place where it may cause
obstruction, inconvenience, or puts other people in danger. Ensure that
vehicle is parked according to the road signs or markings (if any) that
indicates the manner of parking.

Parking on side of the road even for few minutes might cause inconvenience for others
and it is also a dangerous practice. It can even lead to accidents, if a vehicle coming
from the rear hits the parked vehicle.

 Increase of Women Drivers in Kerala
The number of women drivers in Kerala is increasing day by day.
At the present scenario, Xtreme X plan a one-day driving contest
for female drivers in Kerala at Kochi.

This driving contest aimed at creating goodwill for women drivers

and to make them confident enough to get the cars on roads
swiftly, safely and to establish them as confident drivers. This
driving contest is set for only women in the age bracket of 18 to
50 and having valid four wheel (LMV) driving license especially
who are planned to buy a new car.

 Concept Note
• The venue for this one day Women's driving challenge will be
in Marine drive [ Helipad Ground] at Kochi or similar grounds.
• The registration is limited for first 140 registrations.
• Contest is planned and facility will be arranged as 5 Participants
can participate in the competition at the same time.
• The Participants have to drive from the starting point to the
finish point, 250 meters away from start without touching the
hurdles, tracks etc. and park the vehicle in the best manner in
lesser time.
• Out of the 140 Participants, 5 best drivers will be recognized
and winners will get a price money or a special discount to buy a
new car.
• Runner ups can participate in a talk show along with the winner
with our Media Partner and also get attractive prizes from the
co sponsors.
• The event will be fully fun packed and attractive with amazing simple
contests for the public too.

 Establishment of the Driving Challenge

• Ground will be taken in rent.

• Race-track, hurdles, stage etc. will be aptly created
• Driving Skills will be observed & valued by Experts [RTO]
• The registration of contestants will be invited through car
dealers and publicity will be given in Social media, What's
app, SMS etc. We sort & finalize 100 to 140 participants.
• Sponsor branded certificate will be given to all participants.
• Prize distribution ceremony can be more colorful by
including a Celebrity Presence and Print Digital Media.

The Participant is Expected to Climb the Ramp, Apply Breaks on

the Ascending Slope, Hold for 3 Seconds, and resume the drive
ascending and not decent.
