What I Know What I Want to Know What I Learned

To ensure that teachers are adequately prepared to
administer the K–12 Program, all learning and
development activities for teachers must be based on
the Philippine Professional Standards for Teachers
(PPST). It may also be applied to the choice and
advancement of instructors. This set of criteria must
serve as the basis for all evaluations of instructors'
performance.
What does "21st century teacher" mean? So, how do we
appear? Do we possess a distinguishing quality that
makes us special and distinct from other professions?
Can we develop a standard of excellence distinct from all
other types of work? Does the adaptation and
implementation of PPST is a great milestone in teacher
quality standardization of this nation? If it smoothly
implemented, will it give a way in achieving the goals of
newly implemented k-12 curriculum?
The purpose of PPST is to improve accountability by
making educators accountable for what happens in the
classroom. A greater level of learning is also ensured by
the practice of aligning learning to standards, which also
aids instructors in the process of evaluation and keeps
them on track. Finding various methods to demonstrate
to pupils how technology could enable them to study
more effectively and at a higher level empowers them.
