Tesla Reflection
Tesla Reflection
The Movie entitled “Tesla” was indeed a great movie, and for the record it is the
second movie that I had watched about electricity, especially Alternating current and
Direct Current. Tesla is a 2020 American historical drama film starring Ethan Hawke as
Nikola Tesla, a brilliant and visionary inventor. Tesla landed in New York City in the
1880s, and the narrative begins there. Tesla had to dig trenches to survive as an
immigrant with great aspirations and ambitions. While working for Edison, Tesla began
work on a new project: a machine that employs an alternating current, which is more
effective than Edison's direct current approach in terms of gathering electricity that may
be utilized to create electricity. It's a fascinating film that instills in us positive qualities
like visionary skills and self confidence.
The narrator says in the last scene that either Tesla went too far or that the world
we live in now is one that Tesla envisaged first. When you think about it, Tesla coils are
utilized a lot nowadays. Their major purpose is to provide entertainment and educational
exhibitions. I felt terrible for Tesla after witnessing the movie because, despite his
evident talent, he still fights to exist in this world. Knowing his achievements, it's tough
not to imagine what may happen if he applied his brain to business.
Tesla, like Edison, was a brilliant man. This film has once again given me a better
knowledge of how electricity came to be. However, the performers, particularly Tesla,
did not depict those electrical pioneers properly. Tesla's discoveries, notably alternating
current technology and additional polyphase motors, were both significant, as far as I
know, but they were not adequately highlighted in the film. I've always preferred reading
books since they are more thorough and trustworthy.
"Do you know what is the greatest gift anyone can receive in his lifetime? The
greatest gift we can receive is to have the chance, just once in our lives, to make a
difference" and I do believe that Tesla, Edison, and the Westinghouse did really have
that chance to change the world and they did. All of them had the greatest inventions at
their time, and our world in terms of innovations would not be influenced at the present if
not because of them. Indeed, I salute each and every each one of them, they are truly
amazing and gifted because of their skills, talents, and intelligent.
