Procurement Sourcing Specialist

A Sourcing Specialist will assist in the day-to-day purchasing needs of the business, requiring
good relationship building, strong negotiation skills and can assist in identifying other cost
savings opportunities within the business. They must have an analytical vision to re-negotiate
long-term contracts and will report under the strategic sourcing team within Procurement

Responsibilities:
 Partner with the business to better understand their purchasing needs and ensure
proper purchasing procedures are followed within the APAC region, as well as some
global sourcing events
 Manage active and potential suppliers to ensure the goods and services being provided
align with the business stakeholder’s needs in a timely manner
 Identify opportunities, aggregate and standardize goods and services, to increase
purchasing power and optimize working capital.
 Assist in managing and overseeing various sourcing projects, including simple
purchases, contract negotiations and strategic sourcing
 Ability to comprehend and action on contract terms, allowing for in-depth discussion with
stakeholders and suppliers
 Monitoring project regularity and elaborate on project status, key dates and roadblocks
 Ability to understand valuations including total cost of ownership and return on
investment
 Communicate and assist in the execution of Procurement strategies, policies, and
procedures.
 Execute a general expense analysis and an annual Category Management Plan for the
designated Portfolio.
 Recommend and implement changes to achieve cost savings and efficiencies.
 Use of the Procurement team systems for tracking status, monitor supplier spend,
execute on projects, as well as collaborating with stakeholders and supplier
 Establish and maintain good commercial relations with suppliers and stakeholders.

Requirements:
 Bachelor’s Degree in Administration, Economics, Management processes or related
areas
 3+ years procurement sourcing experience in a mid- large sized organization
 Experience in managing multiple suppliers with different levels of expenses.
 Strong Communication Skills
 Understanding of the P2P Process
 Experience with Workday Procurement is a plus
 Teamwork and work effectively with different employees and client levels.
