REF: DIFFERAL OF PROVISION OF TOUR GUIDNG CERTIFICATES FOR PRACTICING GUIDES:

Dear Sir,

Greetings, pursuant to the CEO’s meeting at you office, the committee of EATGDA formally makes a
formal request to postpone provision of tour guiding certificates for tou guides upon application for
renewal of tra licences. We are aware that earlier in 2019, a commitment was made by tour guides who
do not pocess tour guiding certificates to provide the same upon renewing of 2022 licences however,
many of our members have been faced by economic ,lockdowns and social challenges due to effects of
covid-19 pandemic and have therefore not been able to proceed with learning or completion of courses.
It is in this regard that EATGDA on behalf of its members request for a deferral of this provision until
situation normalizes. We request that they be allowed to renew their 2022 licences and continue
working.

Arrangements for provision of academic papers can/shall be discussed in the course of the year.
