3) Smart Assistance System for the Visually Impaired: Physical movement is one of the biggest challenges for the visually impaired. People with complete blindness or low vision often have a difficult time in self-navigating unfamiliar environments. Traveling or simply walking down a crowded street may pose great difficulty. So, many people with low vision tend to bring a sighted friend or family member for assistance. It also becomes difficult for them to keep a track of their routine environments. Systems should be proposed based on technologies like Image processing, Speech processing etc., so the problems faced by blind people can be reduced to certain extent.

1) Design and implementation of brain-computer interface for electric wheelchairs with EEG and eye-blinking signals: Brain Computer Interface (BCI) offers direct correspondence and controlling channel between the human mind and different physical gadgets. This project aims to introduce a Wheel chair controlled by Human Brain, designed for patients, for example who people can't utilize physical interfaces like joysticks or buttons. This system offers immense advantages to patients who are limited to wheelchairs however have their cognitive capability intact. The electroencephalogram (EEG) signals will be extracted and prepared using Microcontroller and grouped with machine learning strategies.
2) Assistive Navigation System design for Vision Impairers:
More than 253 million individuals worldwide experience the ill effects of vision impairment. The aim of the project is to design a portable electronic tool and develop novel algorithms, based on deep learning and artificial intelligence that enables vision impaired patients to perform navigations tasks. The targeted tasks include to find pedestrian path in crowded places, to escape from obstacles and hazards and recognizing related landmarks. The targets achieved in this project can be use further for self-driving vehicles, and self-governing robots.
