● When the Simon commission visited Madras on 3 February 1928, Prakasam Pantulu gave the
slogan "Go back Simon Commission". The English soldiers warned the demonstrators
headed by Prakasam.
● They threatened to shoot if they (the demonstrators) moved an inch forward. Prakasam
Pantulu baring his breast came forward. This made the British soldiers dumb struck. This

● 3 फरवरी 1928 को जब साइमन कमीशन ने म ास का दौरा िकया, तो काशम पंतुलु ने "साइमन
कमीशन वापस जाओ" का नारा िदया। अं ेजी सैिनकों ने काशम के नेतृ म दशनका रयों को
चेतावनी दी।
● उ ोंने धमकी दी िक अगर वे ( दशनकारी) एक इं च आगे बढ़ गए तो गोली मार दी जाएगी। काशम
पंतुलु अपने सीने को खोल कर आगे आया। इसने ि िटश सैिनकों को चौंका िदया। इस अनुकरणीय
साहस ने उ "आं केसरी" की उपािध दी।
● इस घटना के बाद, उ स ानपूवक प से "आं केसरी" (आं के शेर) के प म जाना जाता था।

लाला लाजपत राय

● उपनाम - पंजाब केसरी और पंजाब का शेर
● लाला लाजपत राय भारत के सबसे िस तं ता सेनािनयों म से एक थे।
● रा वाद और उ ाही दे शभ की उनकी िवचारधारा ने उ 'पंजाब केसरी' और 'पंजाब के शेर' की

● उ स ानपूवक पंिडत मदन मोहन मालवीय के प म संबोिधत िकया गया और महामना के पम

● "महामना" उपािध उ रवीं नाथ टै गोर ारा दी गई थी।
● महामना ए ेस टे न (िद ी और वाराणसी के बीच चलने वाली) को भारत के धान मं ी नर मोदी
ने 22 जनवरी 2016 को हरी झंडी िदखाई।

● वे वहां एक बाघ के आमने-सामने आ गए। बाघ ने सबसे पहले ां सीसी सैिनक पर हमला िकया और
उसे मार डाला।
● टीपू की बंदूक ने काम नहीं िकया और जब बाघ उसके ऊपर कूदा तो उसका खंजर जमीन पर िगर
गया।
● वह खंजर िलए प ं चा, उसे उठाया, और उसके बाघ को मार डाला। यही कारण है िक उसे "टाइगर
ऑफ मैसूर" का नाम िमला।

अमीर खुसरो
● उपनाम - भारत की आवाज या भारत का तोता (तुित-ए-िहं द)
● उनका असली नाम अबुल हसन यामीन उद-दीन खुसरो है । वह भारत के एक सूफी गायक, किव और
िव ान थे।
● ख़ुसरो को कभी-कभी "भारत की आवाज़" या "भारत का तोता" (तुित-ए-िहं द) के प म जाना जाता है ,
और इसे उदू सािह का िपता कहा जाता है ।
● ख़ुसरो को "क ाली का जनक" (भारतीय उपमहा ीप म सूिफ़यों के गायन का भ मय प) माना
