Unlocking with “USB DATA Cable”

I. Requirements

- Registered SagDD box (or Rocker dongle) with ordinary LPT cable.
- USB data cable (AC101 or similar).
- SagemDD version 7.1 or higher and paid credits for our server.

II. Procedure

Connect the SagDD box (or Rocker dongle) and the phone to your PC as shown on the
picture below. In the program window select the virtual COM device corresponding to the USB
DATA Cable. Follow the instructions given by SagemDD version 7.1 or higher.

M63/M64 (TI LoCosto based)

M62+ Sec. (TI Calypso+ Sec. based)

IMPORTANT!!! Listed phones might be either M62+ or M62+ Sec.
based. Check MCU labeling before unlocking:
- D75168AGxxx is a M62+ phone and can be unlocked using
SagDD and TPs (JTAG);
- D75160ASx is Secured M62+ phone and can be unlocked
using data cable only.

Note: It is also possible to perform a check without opening the phone. To do so,
connect the phone to the USB DATA Cable. Then select virtual COM and try to read FLASH. If
the phone switches on, it is possible to unlock it with Dongle Unlocking Device and JTAG TP
adapter (See “Unlocking with Dongle Unlocking Device” for details). If SagemDD begins to
boot the phone, then you can unlock it only with USB DATA Cable.
