Topic: The Steel Windpipe-Lesson Three


Class: VII
Time: 45 mins

Objective:
Students will be able to:
-understand the internal and external conflict that the doctor faces.
-use this evidence to make a judgment on the doctor’s character.

Lesson Structure Time

Introductory/ Starter
The tr will divide the class into groups of three or four’s. She will then play the designed 02 mins
literature board game with the students.

Main Activity/ Development


The stds will work in groups and will have to answer a question in order for their piece to
move. Stds can opt for simple to hard questions.
Content question = 1 point 15 mins
Evidence question= 2 points
Analytical question= 3 points

The class will be divided into two large groups, one working on the internal while the other 15 mins
working on the external conflicts that the doctor faces.
The task is to first identify the problems, find relevant evidence for each point.
Three spoke persons will then come forward to debate their side of conflict; emphazing that it 10 mins
has a greater impact of the doctor.

Plenary
03 mins
Stds will be asked to write the ‘Muddiest Point’ of the lesson. These will be read and explained
in class by the teacher.
