SEATTLE — Authorities arrested four suspects in Burien after they allegedly robbed two banks
in North Seattle and downtown Seattle Tuesday afternoon.

Around 3:30 p.m., the suspects held up Salal Credit Union in Northgate, according to Seattle
police. The suspects then allegedly robbed the Chase Bank in Seattle's First Hill neighborhood.

Seattle police and the King County Sheriff's Office (KCSO) chased the suspects as they traveled
south on Interstate 5. At one point, the suspects weaved into oncoming traffic in Burien, new
video from KCSO shows.

Two suspects eventually got out of the vehicle and attempted to flee on foot but were
apprehended.

The driver continued to flee from police in a residential neighborhood, running at least one red
light. The suspect was arrested after it ran into a dead end.

Just after 7:30 p.m., the King County Sheriff's Office tweeted they "just finished helping" Seattle
police arrest four suspects via air support.

The FBI will be investigating the bank robberies.

A spokesperson from the FBI confirmed the agency is working with Seattle police and that
multiple people were in custody. They did not provide further information.
